I make a cranberry cake that's very similar... I add orange zest and a little fresh squeezed orange juice. Plus, I make a light glaze adding a little orange juice glaze. Soo yummy. (Sometimes ill make it and substitute fresh blueberries and lfresh lemon) Yummy cake made either way. ❤

A little orange peel or flavoring will make the flavors absolutely pop even a few pecans would elevate the taste
