Our Favorite Homeschool Math [Top 5 Reasons We Love It]

In today's video, we're showing you our favorite homeschool math curriculum, and sharing the top five reasons we love it! As a busy homeschool mom, I needed a math curriculum that was not only simple and uncomplicated, but that my kids could really enjoy.
As a second-generation homeschool mom, I was familiar with a few different math curricula, and tried using with my children what my mom had used with me. Spoiler alert - it was a HUGE FAIL! I share in this video what I found that didn't work, and what we're doing now that is mom- and kid-approved!

Awesome! I have never heard of that curriculum, but you make it sound great! I just bought a Saxon math 2 for one of my little ones because I used Saxon in middle school and enjoyed it. I am very interested in seeing the curriculum you shared. Thanks for the link.

Hi Angie:) perfect timing! Mom of 5 here, number 6 on the way. I’ve commented on your eyesight vids, which is how I originally found you. This year I have changed our curriculum choice several times. A few months ago I found these Living Education math books, also phonics and language arts. We are in Canada and I actually found them on a homeschool site in Canada which makes ordering and shipping so much simpler. Anyway, I’ve been a bit stressed this year about adding a new baby, I also have chickens and milk goats I care for daily and milk. I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed wondering how I was going to do it all this year with five kids and a newborn and farm work. I’m so happy to see you have a review on this curriculum! This has solidified my choice and I’m so excited to have this simplified and settled in my mind as it’s been another pre baby “to do”☺️ I too was homeschooled. My mom used Abeka, I did not enjoy that, Saxon and Horizons. I began my kids with Horizons, my oldest did well with it but I did not feel as though my kids were making the connection between real life and math and it’s purpose in life. Also, like you mentioned, it was beginning to feel overwhelming with all of the Manuel’s, test books as well as manipulatives. I have been homeschooling my kids from the beginning, this year I have three officially in school and we will be using this math for sure this year. I am so excited:) I love all of your reasons for choosing it and they are the exact reasons I am choosing it! Oh man I was so disappointed that comments were disabled for the vid of your little one absolutely demolishing that tray of raw liver. Thankfully you didn't disable comments on all vids and I can only imagine the comments that incited you to kill them on that particular vid. Want to thank you for doing that for your child. I would just short of kill for parents who had fed me such vital, molecularly intact, bioapropos foods. Thanks for the vid. Sharing it far and wide, and the health of your little ones is showing as they've aged. Keep up the fantastic, rebellious, revolutionary, insightful, courageous, and wise parenting in an epoch of unending lies and toxicity.

Wow. I can't tell you how happy this comment made me. 😊 You have no idea. You're absolutely right about the comments on the other video. They ranged from ignorant to downright insane. However, the large majority of them were positive, so I was reluctant to disable them, but it just got to be too much mentally and emotionally. Thank you so much for your encouragement and support! My one year old devours raw grass fed liver with as much gusto as her siblings and has never had so much as a sniffle her entire life. She's naturally immune, of course. 😉

@@AngelaHepp , regarding your little ones' vibrance and health. I believe it, that's been my experience since going raw ancestral foods a good while back. They will be re-pioneers leading the way for everyone returning to traditional foods, showing what a foundation of nutrient density vs a foundation of mcnuggests and glyphosate results in 😑😃📆📅⌚ same with your vids on eye improvement, most people won't believe it can be achieved until they see someone in good standing in the community demonstrating it. The most important work on earth right now aside from spiritual growth. Keep it up! 😊

Hey! 2nd generation homeschooler k-12 here too! I was raised ABeka and switched to Saxon in Jr high. I have started with ABeka with my kiddos aince I like their early math but will be switching around grade 2 or 3. Thanks for this video! I have subscribed and will go find you on IG! ❤️
