Our favourite smartphones of 2022

It's the end of 2022 and Dom has picked out his five favourite phones of the year. Settle in for a trip down memory lane as he explains why these are his top picks from all the phones he's used and reviewed since January.
That's why there's no sign of an iPhone or a Google Pixel phone. Dom didn't review one! Maybe we should make sure he does in 2023, particularly if their absence outrages you.

It’s nice to see someone paying attention to “just as great” or even greater phones than the standard phones we always see videos about (Apple, Google, Samsung etc) .. I own an iPhone 13 Pro and pixel 7 but I’m a fan of the Oneplus 10 pro and the Nothing 1 phone looks interesting.. breath of fresh air video 👍🏿

I bought a Zenfone 9 because of its size and overpowered specs/efficiency. I love that it came with the most powerful chip and 16gb of ram in a small size with good battery life. It’s basically the phone I’ve been waiting for for years.

Oh cool!! That is in my wishlist. Can you tell what my vice is? Collecting phones. I would sell the iPhone 14 Pro if someone wanted it and just go back to using my iPhone 12 Mini. Then maybe I could convince myself to try out the Asus Zenfone 9.
