I've always loved State of Decay. I've been a fan since the first, I only gave it a chance because it had a demo option. I preordered the second the second I saw it available. I enjoyed playing with Brant, and helping him lose some hair after multiple game sessions. Kudos to 6 years and 38 updates! Looking forward to State of Decay 3. My favorite update was getting sidearms, favorite map Meager Valley, still hate Drucker County and Providence Ridge (and I still don't have the achievements for settling there and never will)

I just got #2, im completely new to this title. What a game man. Its the best zombie survival ive ever got my hands on. It covers all the bases with combat, resource management, the dread difficulty is fair but challenging. I dont know about everyone else but i genuinely grow fond of the survivors i have in my group. I have a feeling i will be playing state of decay 2 up until 3 drops. Cannot believe i overlooked this game for all these years.

Undead Labs, this game is awesome! I’ve been playing SOD2 since its release and seeing how much love you’ve given to the game and the community is a wonderful thing to see. One of my favorite mechanics of the game is survivor/character generator. Regardless of what your survivor can do (or can’t, if it’s a negative trait 😂), they’re unique just like real people. They’re not like a Leon Kennedy or Kratos, where their story is driven by a plot. If a community member dies, they’re gone for good and you feel the weight of losing someone you had invested in; there’s no ‘restart’ or ‘play again’ for them. When you boot up a community, it’s almost like going into the office, knowing and feeling those quirks amongst your team that make them unique and that’s only one of the many factors that make this game special. I sincerely love this game and I appreciate your values and how you’ve all build an audience. We can’t wait to see what the future holds at Undead Labs.

This game has come such a long way. Easily one of the most replayable games I've played in the last decade, and that's saying something coming from me. They really didn't have to support it for as long as they did, FOR FREE, but they did, because it's clear the devs just genuinely love the game. It's extremely rare for devs to both care enough and be able to support a game like this for as long as you guys have, so on behalf of the entire playerbase, thank you. Looking forward to SoD3, can't wait to see what it's got for us!

Brian asking if you intended for the bell ringing in Providence across from the Firehouse base just made me laugh hysterically. How exactly could that have been anything but intentional?!?! They had to program in the bell ringing when you shoot it, and program in that ring making actual sound the zombies can hear.... like, I was surprised he asked that lol 🤣

Great game, great franchise, great studio. Here's hoping that Microsoft & Xbox properly advertise the next game; I know so many people who would find SoD to be their dream game... and they've never even heard of its existence. Also I'm hopeful that this third entry really hones in on the two things I'm most yearning for with this title; the same kind of narrative experience that 1 offered (where main characters could die and the story would just continue with new survivors) being front and centre at launch, as well as a full and dedicated multiplayer experience that I was always wanting for 2. Anyway, here's to the future of this game! One of the few game studios left that actually feels like it's run and developed by actual human beings.

38:30 Trumbull Valley ain't my favorite, but that's probably because I played SoD 1 a lot, so I know the map really well, so I skip that map when I cycle through, I can't really pick over the other maps, I really enjoy all of them. I don't mind the amount of loot, the less the better I might actually say, ups the difficulty :P.

There's still a loading bug within game... in the maps it'll flash black for a second and load, and then resume game.. this repeats until you leave an area.. or reload into the game

The one thing I've hated about this game and kept me from playing anymore was how fast the characters became tired, and you'd have to switch them out. Maybe I missed something to prevent this or didn't play long enough to build up stamina, but it sucked. Maybe after the yrs since I've played it's changed if so I'll come back to play again as I really did like the game.
