Good to see you still posting these my guy! Here's a few tips based on my own experience playing the game: 1. I never found the walking speed to be that useful and it became the last tree I ended up unlocking. I'd go for the testing tool unlocks, the assembling/disassembling speed upgrades and then the repair chance upgrades first. 2. Personally I saved all my repairable parts until I got the max 95% chance. Took a while but was a good pay off in the end, depends on how much you can stand a cluttered inventory until the warehouse unlocks though. 3. You can access the tablet at any time, even while on a part and reassembling things, just hit T to bring up the shop menu and you can buy parts as you need them. Took me ages to find this out and it makes thing like much more complicated engine rebuilds way easier. 4. Save your barn maps for a bit later in the game tbh, you need a bit of cash to make them worthwhile, not only to buy the cars and parts you find but also to have some cash to spend on parts to restore them when you get back to the garage. I'd say 50k to 100k is a good amount, even then don't plan on keeping them for your collection, you'll probably need to sell them to make money and keep the ball rolling. 5. Not every part you find in the junk piles at the barns/junkyard are repairable, there are lists online of what you can and can't repair but up to you if you want to get that involved in the nitty gritty. One thing that is the case for all parts is you can only repair them at 15% and above, under that they are all junk and not worth buying. 6. One thing to keep in mind is you won't be able to fully restore cars to 100% across the board until level 30, even then you won't be able to repair body parts you'll have to buy them, it's level 35 when you can repair them yourself. So there's a lot of exp grinding until you can do full restorations I'm afraid.

I'm actually quite a bit better at the game since I grinded a ton offline for next episode (ep 07, which is already finished 🤐). Definitely going to rework my skill tree in Episode 8 and give your comment a shout out if I can remember! Thanks again man 👊

This is great, I love this game been playing a while now but took a break from a Mustang rebuild and bumped into your channel. There is a new version CMS 2021 coming out in March gets excited... PS: When disassembling the parts for example the front suspension right-click the part name then the little yellow note pad click it then click the green + this creates a shopping list that appears in all stores, there is a yellow tab top right with the saved list of parts in the store.

To be honest I rather not talk about that, it was a bullshit situation altogether lol. My Mustang is near stock, no real power mods as of yet but I plan to do full bolt ons to it. Everything up to boost since I don't see myself being able to afford that anytime soon. Only reason I don't have new videos rolling out is because mods are so expensive haha. Takes money to make money; even as a tech since you gotta buy tools as you know.

@@OctaneStreet I agree, and you hit the nail on the head, we don’t become or aren’t mechanics for the money cause there isn’t really any money in it. Especially for our our own cars. Oh and guess fuggin what, did an oil pan and trans cooler lines on my bosses uncles van(2002 GMC G2500), oil pan(so far and knock on wood) was fine, but I did the trans cooler plugs which I sealed tightened and pulled for assurance, guess I need to check it 1000 times for it to be right cause there was trans fluid everywhere his morning. Then again it had a leak prior. Idk anymore

@@AntiCommunistMarine Honestly, I just completed level 1 and in the process I learned about how much some other trades earn and the discrepency is quite large lol. But wow what a coincidence haha, it can always be nerve racking working on the boss' vehicle but I'd hope that goes away with experience and having more confidence in your own abilities.

@@AntiCommunistMarine Try not to think about it too much, you're still learning (and always are) no matter how much experience you have. If you focus on the bad jobs or mistakes you can start to tunnel and doubt yourself and your capabilities. In other words you might be getting into your own head! We all make mistakes, and there's nothing wrong with that. Just keep trying to learn from them, even if its not a mistake that you've necessarily even made. But no I don't work for a dealer, i'm currently looking for jobs to see what I should do, and whatever I decide i'll probably talk about it briefly in a video to keep my viewers in the loop.
