we are so used to this romantic coming of age trip like movies, yet even if i felt like these videos were like a Jonh Green type thing, i appreciate the fact that they are just friends, like look at them, that shit is pure. My absolute best friend only lived in my town like 6 or 7 months total, after that we only saw saw eachother in 2014 for a day, in 2017 for ten days and in 2019 for 11 days (give or take). We do talk on the phone but those precious 10 day encounters with her are the best. i love her too much xd

I remember founding your channel back when i just graduated highschool. I felt so lost back then, not knowing what i want to do in life, it was soo overwhelming then on some random afternoon i found you. I remembered that, it was one of the genuine thing i've watched. After months feeling so lost and disconnected, you vids are one of the most human thing i've found. And i hold tightly to that. I always know that, there's got to be something more in life. I believe that with all my heart. Fast forward now, I'm on my third year of Uni, I look at all these people around me and felt so so small. And this whole pandemic thing makes me feel so much lost and disconnected than i was before. Its so scary, to think abouth the future sometimes. So much uncertainty. I don't watch you video every day when you upload, but i do come by every once in a while to see how you're doing. I followed you on instagram too and see how many adventures you're going and seeing new things and felt happy that you're doing alright. I know there must be moments where you feel down and having some rough times and i hope it never stops you from doing the things your heart wants. So many people live their whole lives feeling empty, not knowing what they want, not being able to find something to hold on to. Its kinda scary if you think about it. But then i see you living your life the way you want, creating memories that you will forever cheerish with your loved ones and i genuinly felt very happy for you. Thank you for sharing your moments and and being who you are, it makes me feel less alone sometimes

Hi Aisha, that is a lovely comment. I know how that can feel sometimes. That pain and disconnect. And no way to run from it. Please mind that sometimes things that seem like opposites or like being far from each other, actually are very close, even two sides of the same coin. That pain and disconnect, for me at least, was a call. A call to pay attention, to listen, to allow, to acknowledge, to be with, to Love. All this time, trying to get away from it, didn’t I know that it was the doorway to get to where I wanted to arrive at, unknowingly, all my life. All it took was letting it in, unprotected, without turning away. And by doing so realizing that what I and what you, too, are, is so much bigger than the pain. It is so big, it can not only bear the pain, it can even love and subsequently heal it. And once you tap into the well of your own being, everything gets more rich and vivid and genuine. Turn to your pain, give it your attention, your love and understanding without „fixing“ it. Just be with it. Feel it with good will and observe the transformative and yet simple power of your presence. Holding presence for all aspects of your humanity is what practicing self love is. Yeah, sure, It's perfectly fine to just be friends. But on the flip side, if you are lucky enough to find someone you click with on a deep level, it's OKAY to pursue a relationship with them! Lots of the strongest relationships start out as friendships with lots of shared experiences. Just don't trick yourselves into thinking that "just being friends" means there may not ever be mutual interest...and I hate the, like, "romantic" spin on it...It's more like truly just being PARTNERS.
