Yes definitely expect hate. I’ll definitely be here in the comments to help but DO NOT listen to them because storm and gabby need this. Knowing how much these two have tried over the past 2 and a bit years is enough to tell me that they are getting somewhere with this.very very excited to see where this takes them! Love this instructor!! Reminds me of my old one who moved to spain 🙁 made me do my centre line over and over until they were perfect 😂 years later I still get good scores for my centre line in dressage tests 😉 she will do them the world of good 🙌

Don't worry get mean with your horse even in your voice is very important I get tough with the horses I ride I don't put up with any horse crap, I use my voice to show my different tones like if I'm fed up I get madder in my voice

This is literally my trainers. So technical and lots of yelling. My trainers tell me all the time that they love to yell at some people. Luckily I’m one that they don’t have to yell at to much 😂. It’s really good to have a trainer that doesn’t let you get away with a lot. My trainers always say, “You want this striding? Then f*cking get it” 😂. You just need that sometimes. You need people that get after you and get mad at you to push you forward.

Horses usually don’t start naughty behaviour for no reason whether it is physical or they don’t understand the training. You have spent the time making sure everything is right with Storm, you make sure his back is good with a fitted saddle and regular chiropractor treatments. You give him supplements for ulcers and corrected his feet. So now his naughtiness is just habit and the time is right for Gabby and Storm to work through it and Storm will realise that nothing hurts any more. You have done all the right things for him and correcting a habit is very hard. Gabby is ready to fix that. Also her leg is so much better than when she first tried spurs, she only touches him when she needs to. It is a pleasure to watch Gabby ride. Clinics are awesome!

You’ll get used to the strict trainers once you do more clinics😂my normal trainer is strict anyway, but I love him he’s the best, I’ve only done 1 clinic and it was a 1-day clinic and I rode a schooling horse named Ritz and he was the BEST❤️ but now I own my own horse to ride now and I really wanna do a clinic with him 😊

I used to have a tough instructor and it didn’t work for me at the time because I was so young but having someone who is fierce can work a lot better because it will motivate you to really get the job done, and those types of trainers make sure EVERYTHING is done correctly which I think will be really good for gabby and Storm in the long run

It’s hard for me to eat in the mornings as well :(. I watched the clinic video last night and gabby and stormy did such a good job and I’m sure they’ll do even better in the jumping part of the clinic! The girls and horses looked so professional 😎. This reminded me of my first clinic since quarantine There are some cross-country Fences Inn in the arena my horse Spooked that one it ended up with me braking my toe under my toe nail and now I can only jump with no stirrups so that happened I’m riding the same horse tomorrow my trainers horse I co own

not meant as hate but if you are going to use a chain then plz use it the way that it is intended to be used because it can be a danger to the horses but if he really needs one when off property then get a safety halter bu lemuix and just a normal lead because it is like a chain lead rope just more safe i have to have one for my horse when we ant at home because he gets peppy. :)

@@DayByDayVlogs that is great but just make sure when you have him tied because he is tied with an other horse i would say to pit it threw the halter or even string it through the fleece on the nose band just so its not hanging on the ground. because if a horse grabs it say when playing or something it can damage their teeth :) its fine to use if you are just walking them somewhere its just the tied up that i was concerned about

When dealing with 1200 pound animals you gotta do what you gotta do to not get killed and to earn respect to be safe. If the horse is not in pain, and is perfectly happy and healthy, which is y'alls' case, Storm is just being his sassy, lazy self. It all depends on how you use the tools, and Gabby along with Fiona are experienced enough for them. I love y'all! Laura, keep shining God's light!

Would’ve loved to do this stuff with my Family, but now I'm 18 and I only have my mother in my life and she’s not the outdoor type. My girlfriend owns and rides horses so I’m hoping to get into learning how to ride after the virus restrictions, So I just wanted to say that your content is very helpful and also entertaining. Gabby usually does ride both horses on the bit. I know when warming up( first getting on) she rides loose reined to allow the horses muscles to warm up before framing😊

@@aprildreamsphotography5218 I've just now looked at some videos of gabby and the horses, she does not ride on the bit as you can see the horses nose is pointing out. On the bit doesnt mean having tight reins, it means to be connected from hand to mouth. I have highly schooled horses and trainers who have helped with that. You should atleast half hartedly have your horse in the bit in english deseplines. Just the slightest playing of your hands with the reins should get a horse on the bit. I really like the way she rides and all but maybe her trainer is fairly basic with everything. Thankyou for your concern xx

One ride a day!? I went to a clinic and we rode 3 or 4 times a day and 1:30 hours each. That was an easy clinic, consider yourselves lucky!

Just a little story that’s funny to think about now but not when it happened: Once I handed my little brother one of my horses bridal. I left him with that and a spray bottle that squirts very far. Remind you that she was tethered to the fence. I peeked outside of the barn cause I heard my horse screaming. Guess what I saw? My brother. Had squirt. My horse. In the butthole. With water. I’m pretty sure you can tell what happened next, I went out and slapped him, took the spray bottle and asked where the bridal was. He said he threw it in another direction really far. I said alright and told him I would get in in a second. So I walked besides my horse and the bridal was on her, upside down. So I asked where the halter was he said he thought that was the bridal T-T he grabbed a pocket knife and cut the halter, then threw it. That was my favorite halter TwT I slapped him again then kicked him in the no no square and went to find it. I found it but it was missing the metal connected thing and the fur that covered it was on the ground and all the metal was most likely taken by a crow. So yeah that happened 😳😳😳

You are kind people you have great trainers and your clinician was amazing as well and you look after all your animals extremely well,and put their well being always first, as anyone who watches your videos can tell . Can't wait to see how the jumping turned out . In BC we have been in phase three since the end of June but sadly because of people having private parties of 100 ( the max amount we can have indoor is 50and that is only if you can social distance) our numbers have been steadily going up 🙁

a few months ago, i had a clinic for showjumping and the coach was really strict and thought i spoke portugese, lol. and then the captin walked into the arena with his horse and the coach paused the lesson to talk to him. ;w; turns out the captin was a former olympic eventer and did cross country. he went to montreal for olympics a while ago. also, hopefully when covid ends, i can go to vancouver and toronto to see my friends and family! but i dont think i'll be used to so many people speaking english because in portugal, so many people speak portugese! 😂

If someone says that’s abuse if you get after your horse just ignore them because you have to sometimes if your horse knows he can get away with things he will take advantage of you and it can be really dangerous so just block them out and ignore them cause it’s not abusive it shows your horse who is boss and that he can’t just get away with barely cantering and he can’t get away with refusing a jump he has to know that oh this girl will show me who is boss she will tell me no and that’s what you want so he doesn’t think he is the boss he knows you are p.s ❤️❤️❤️love your vids

It’s sad how you guys are expecting hate. I watched Gabby get after her horse in the clinic, and I had a feeling someone would say something. But I was watching the video early so there was hardly any comments lol. But Gabby didn’t do anything wrong. These are 1200 pound animals. Horses are like toddlers, literally haha! They need correction. So, I’m very proud of Gabby! Also, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with spurs. It would be different if you guys were using them incorrectly. But you aren’t! Spurs aren’t abuse as long as used correctly. Gabby uses them correctly! You guys are not abusing your horses. You’re doing what’s best for them. It breaks my heart when I see you guys get hate, you don’t deserve it. You’re such a lovely family, with two beautiful girls that are so good at riding! I know Gabby and Sophie will go far in their riding journey ❤️ so proud of you guys!
