Hey, you were in my second home! (I married a Türk) I'm so glad you were able to explore Istanbul a bit and see the Ayasofya (my fave, used to be free) lmk if you want some local spots if you return to Türkiye. Istiklal Street is ok but locals avoid it like the plague.

What I can't understand is why folks think these two young people should plan their future according to how people think it should be? These people haven't worked for a year and can afford to travel and do what they want. For a black woman to achieve a carefree / financially free life with a husband that adores her is a blessing. They are living better lives than most of us. I've never seen them come on here and ask for advice for future plans or beg for money. That must mean that they have all their things together. Do you think they have to be settled down with a baby and a 9-5 to be living a good life?
