I'm a millennial software dev that can make 3-10x more in the US vs anywhere in Europe and I'm trying to move my family of 5 to Europe. Things in America feel like you're in a madhouse right now and seem like they're going to get worse. I'd listen to your parents and stay for another year or so to see how it gets if you are in the financial spot to do so.

As an American who has been living in Lithuania for almost 5 years now, I understand your confusion on whether or not to move back to the States. There are some pros and cons to both. The weather here in the fall and winter months are very difficult and dark! At the same time Lithuania is a beautiful and safe place as you said. The states have a lot to offer too depending on your wishes and needs. It feels like the whole world is a bit unpredictable at this time though. You will know the best choice to make when it's time to make the decision. Best of luck to you both!

I love the USA, it’s nice to go to other countries for the purpose of weather, seeing beautiful scenery, and finding out how other people live their lives. all of my memories, family, friends, the good, bad and the ugly I have experienced in America and I know it’s where I want to stay.
