Well if you notice she is there with him at the end so she did make it, however it is still a gut check especially for any who have been through loosing some one you love to that extent. My story didn't have a good ending. I begged God to take me too, but he didn't listen to me. He took my husband and left me to deal with my unbelievable grief. That was 15 years ago and I'm still grieving. I was not done needing and loving my husband. Why didn't God listen to me too? I so begged him to take me to. Let me breakdown the end of the song since it's clear that you both have a grasp of the beginning and middle of the song almost perfectly at the end where the doctor prepares him for the worst and his prayers to god you hear in the lyrics are then answered if you watch closely at the end of the video they're all going to the same fishing spot they were at when they were 8 Johnny the little boy and the mom in the back carrying a picnic basket so that they have something to eat later
