I looked at staying here last weekend (07/12/2024) and it came up with a cost of £480 for 1 night 1 adult which is bonkers !! You guys got a bargain at £99 a night, can’t even get a Travelodge for that price

The kids room was super cute! That ceiling projector was ace. The bird sounds in the restaurant might get tiresome but my cat was very intrigued with it as I watched lol

The squirrel on the sort of board with balls underneath. That would make rattle sounds as soon as it gets moved and placed upon the board. A hefty toy to throw about, though. No wonder that did not last long on the market not to cause more mayhem. I still treasured mine. That rattle hand piece was so heavy when actively thrown... .

Heathrow was there a long time before Legoland ( and Windsor Safari Park before that!!) Fortunately those of us that live anywhere on a flight line are so used to that 'noise' we wouldn't notice.

You can absolutely eat fried eggs - all UK eggs are Lion marked which means they're 100% safe - feel free to check that out on the NHS website. The only eggs that may not be Lion marked are 'backyard' eggs, or ones bought from the roadside

My number one shelved LEGO duplo toy for toddlers is the Squirrel rattle on the board with balls underneath. I also understand why some parents would be careful to gift such a heavy rattle, nowadays.

I stayed here in October and I also was expecting the muffins at breakfast and there wasn't and the same with Chessington now in July. I don't think they have muffins anymore as part of the merlin breakfasts

Just FYI: in the UK you should still be able to have a fried egg while pregnant! Most eggs are British Lion eggs, which means they’re safe to even eat raw, so you don’t have to go without fried eggs 😜😜 from one fellow pregnant lady to another 😉

The quality of the food and service at the Lego land hotels is always poor. Stayed at the castle hotel in November and the breakfast was such poor quality, lots of full plates going back to the kitchen. We ordered takeaway pizza for our evening meal which was much nicer and better value than eating at the Brick restaurant. Loved staying in the hotel!

Every merlin breakfast is terrible. We visited for the first time last October Splash Landings Hotel and Chessington Safari Hotel and both breakfasts were very poor quality. We had 19 nights in the UK, in many different hotels, and the 3 mornings with merlin breakfasts were by far the worst!

Every time I have stayed at the hotel the food has been awful. LEGOLAND being the worst for food. I don’t think the sit down service work last at all and the quality is very poor. I also feel LEGOLAND is definitely the most expensive to stay on site which is a shame as we would love to stay more as a family
