Our First Visit To Dollywood During The Christmas Season | Trying Iconic Food Items Around The Park

Dollywood is now officially on my bucket list and yes, purely for the food.

Watching this video was a little bittersweet for me. My dad passed away three years ago, my mother this past August and we used to go to Dollywood when I was in college. My mother used to camp out in front of a food cart waiting for the fried green tomatoes. And, she would always bring a bag of pork rinds home. 😄One of my favorite pictures taken with my dad was taken there. Also, my mother had wanted to go back this year to experience Christmas at Dollywood/Pigeon Forge. Although bittersweet, I cherish those memories. Thank you for the video.

My mouth literally dropped wide open when the lady cutting the pie picked up the piece to put it in the box. I did not expect the pie to be that deep! Wow. Looks amazing

Prince Charming dev is so inspirational I watch him every day, when I’m down I watch him get dev I’m a big Disney person too me and my mom couldn’t go this year because of the pandemic but watching u feel like we’re there again

Dollywood is an amazing place to go. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are a lot of fun and beautiful too! Dollywood's roller coasters are the best! Wild Eagle is one of the best! Thanks for taking us along!

Glad you got to experience the differences in Dollywood. The food is different. The rides are fun especially as they’re hidden in the trees and hills. You’re right the atmosphere is calmer. We loved the fall season

I know exactly what you mean about the different vibe there compared to here in Florida. I absolutely loved Dollywood. It reminds me of the old school theme park but bigger. Everyone is so friendly from the hosts to the visitors there. It’s just a different relaxing pace overall. My son’s even noticed it to. Hope you both enjoy the rest of your lil getaway ❤️

Oh wow I actually cried watching this one. So many wonderful memories. My grandparents took me to Dollywood twice a year every year until I was in high school and my papa you’ll ride every ride. I miss them both so much and watching you walk those same paths brought out all the emotions! I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself. I could almost smell the scents in the park! The International Festival in the Spring is a great time to go. They bring in acts from all over the world. And Halloween is spectacular. They have so many jack-o'-lanterns. Of course you saw how beautiful it is at Christmas in Dollywood.

Welcome to our area of the woods. We live two hours away from here and vacation a lot in pigeon forge. My aunt and uncle moved there about 4 years and they love it. Haven’t gotten to watch all of the videos yet. But I so hope y’all enjoyed your visit! ♥️♥️♥️ and safe travels home you two!

That pie! Yum! Fun fact, Dippin Dots was invented by a super nice guy outside of Lexington Kentucky by accident on his farm in the 1980s. I worked in their 1st and only store in Lexington. He found lower overhead by selling in the amusement parks.

I love Tennessee Tornado!!! It was my first upside down roller coaster. My mom paid me $20 to ride it when I was 8. Rode it 3 more times that day. 🥰

Dev, my family and I were there 2 years ago. There is not a bad meal in that park. We enjoyed it the cheese steak,, pulled pork,hotdogs crazyand taters everyone is so laid-back. Great Times....Great video going need to get back...I am Still Disney to Heart.

We love Dollywood! We used to live right outside Nashville, in a little town called Pleasant View & we loved visiting Pigeon Forge whenever we could! You must have dinner at The Old Mill & Dixie Stampede another night. Enjoy the little piece of heaven that is Tennessee ❤️😁
