(70).......It's too hot here in Texas ( 107 F - 41 C) to do hardly anything.....but there are a few people like you .... up on roofs....working on roads....working outside in the garden.......God bless you hard workers !

Agreed. I was taught that as a little girl and I'm an old lady now but I still remember my Mom telling me that. The snake skin probably from a harmless garden snake, moulting. Such a relaxing atmosphere. The river water is so clean looking. I don’t know if y’all can get Avon products there but they have a product called Skin so Soft. It reminds me of a baby oil in a way but yet not. People use it as a mosquito deterrent. It smells nice also. No deet. I love those little dogs as usual. So so cute. And shiny.

I really enjoy your videos! Your dogs are so sweet! You also have a nice family. My husband and I spent two months in an apartment in Paris a few years ago. It was so hot, but like most apartments in old buildings, there was no air conditioning. We had to leave the windows in the evenings to get some relief from the heat inside. I too was eaten alive from mosquitoes! I got huge itchy welts on my arms and legs and had to go to the pharmacy to get medicine. My husband was never bitten. Thank you for sharing your vacation with us!

You two make me laugh about the stairs. I'm sure no one has cleaned them in a very long time and yet, here you are on vacation making them nicer. It just shows how nice you are....this World needs a billion more like you. The snake skin, however, scares me as I'm so afraid of them....AND mosquitos. They can make you ill...be careful. Props to Fred for the beer tasting; those microbrewery beers are so hit and miss. After repeated tastes of beer from bottles with cool labels that just turned out to be too hoppy, too bitter, too whatever, I just stopped playing "beer roulette" and default to an old reliable like a Stella Artois or (here in New England) a Narragansett lager.

Hi Eveline! Please be careful on those stairs! Those leaves can be slippery. You and Fred worked hard keeping them clean! Such considerate vacationers! Coco surprised me with her cute and grumpy bark trying to get that pick axe “bone!” Meanwhile, Leader Loulou was the intrepid water explorer! We have very big snakes where we live. Love them! For mosquitos, if you have access to fresh lavender plants (in bloom), rub the flowers on your skin. Stops the mosquitos from landing or biting.

Hello from my neighborhood in the loudest place in Northern California and the on earth! Seriously. I love your videos and I have to say, the clock strikes 6am and people start mowing their lawns, sawing something, dude next door, talks so loud I will just join the conversation him and the person on the phone are having...and just overall, kicking off! I have to go sit at the dog park to get peace and quiet. Anyway, I hope you and your family are safe, enjoying your vacation. Sending many good vibes, happiness and abundance! P.S. See if you can find some Benadryl gel, really helps w itchiness and bites heal much faster. I get bit a lot and swellings are big and last a week the 10 days, but this time I used the gel, and it was a life saver. Also there are bracelets you can wear to keep the mosquitos away from you, not sure how effective they are but worth a try.

love that pool cover...neat overhead shot, tube dog walking the tube...yes need better tools, but you two did great work!....i defrosted the freezer in the suite in Maine last week, but you certainly worked harder...oh my, you know it has been raining, thunderstorm since 8AM here in NY, now 9PM! never saw anything like it, says 4 inches of rain, but I see about 10, raised the level of my swim spa up & over the top!, hot but so nice where you are :)...whoa, that small doggie can move anything, SO strong, maybe we should all eat raw meat!...nice tomato & cheese, funny we had salad too & I burnt the biscuits in the oven haha...ah back to the bags, out of the purse...and The Beer Show hooray! oh a beer only suitable for tooth brushing...very fine video today, thanks Eveline XOXO

Do you think the gardener will notice your handiwork? You guys are amazing! I get bit by mosquitos as soon as they come out in the evening. It's not fun. Doesn't make for a pleasant time. Supposedly Amazon has something that everyone is swearing by. Not a candle, something different. We want to get one or two. If they work, I'll let you know!

Fred’s is called a pick here in California. Picks break up hard ground and shell rock. The other end can be used as a hammer but be careful of the pick end. 😁
