The social conflict - you can’t move anyone once they are adjacent to an enemy. Also, certain types of councilors counter others doing extra damage so it’s really important who you have attacking who and surrounding them with more than one is best whenever possible. If they are 2 adjacent to one of yours and one of them counters you also, you have no chance of winning. There should be some indicator when you are placing people before releasing them whether they counter the pieces on the board or are countered by them. It’s green if they counter and red if they are going to be countered by the enemy so be on the lookout for that before you place people and move them in position to fight

The social conflict was... interesting? A new take :) Maybe the strategy would be to sacrifice on or two of the lives of the main member, trying to knock out as many of the "one life only" people, and then out-number their main member later?

You get four entirely new people. New names, stats, portraits, traits, everything. I rerolled mine 5 times and then went with that.
