Thanks Marisa! I just LOVE how your videos are *real life*. Veggies in boxes on the floor, kids happy messes. Seriously! everyone is so worried about perfection and it is refreshing to see real life unashamedly

I wish I had come upon this way of eating before I had kids. My kids are now 9 and 11 and it is HARD getting anybody in my house on board with me.
@bumblebeeapothecary4 жыл бұрын
That can be hard. Setting an example and lots of talking can help 💕

Marisa, is "falling off the wagon" so to speak while on a Gaps Diet probable? and what is one to do to get back on the diet?
@bumblebeeapothecary3 жыл бұрын
Yes, definitely probable! If it happens, just treat it as a big learning time: What did you notice when you ate non GAPS foods? Can you tell that some healing has happened? Do you think more needs to happen? Then pick a day to start on GAPS again, and jump back in. Hope that helps! I would imagine your kids probably wouldn’t even like the taste of candy.

Would you be able to make a video on how to get your kids off of junk food I know it can’t happen over night but I’d love to hear your feed back I am a new subscriber and I want to transform my family’s Health ❤️

Great video and ideas! I love the treasure box idea for exchanging treats given by other people. We often have this issue where others will give our kids something we prefer they not have. I would love to see some recipes for kids maybe transitioning from SAD, perhaps healthy versions of some of the popular kids foods.

My son 2 years old is Really picky and spit put the food i give him. I believe he has sensory issues. I am afraid that he will refuse to eat only Gaps food. I am so Desperate to fight (In a Kind way) at every meal
@bumblebeeapothecary4 жыл бұрын
This kind of pickiness is very common in GAPS kids. Abnormal mouth flora makes good food taste and feel bad. Working closely with a GAPS professional is the best thing to do to help them overcome it. It can be done, and people have great results. Sending well wishes!

Hi Marissa. I have been loosely on gaps for the last year. And it’s been incredibly helpful with my IBS. But I’ve been wondering if this much animal product is actually good for you. Obviously there are different theories on the topic, some of them contrary to one another. Some say this much animal fat and protein is toxic. Do you have anything to say to this? What scares me off a bit is that early stages gaps you literally don’t have any fresh veg or fruit. How good can it be?
