This is our last day before the frame inspection. We need to finish off the lower roofs, and then run around tying everything off and completing a few missing parts

It’s funny how every thing is nominal fixed and not triple gripped. You’re spot on with hardware hangers. Probably a lot worse/ wind up in North Queensland. Love ya vids mate!

U brackets/ hangers is such a grey area in framing here in Australia atm, certain ways are accepted in some areas where others you will be knocked back. I think inspectors don't take into consideration that our pre fixing nails (collated framing nails) if skewed or nailed from the back can hold upto 70kg per nail. We use anywhere between 4-8 nails to fix joists, posis, rafters, ceiling, any timber connection so to speak into place and then come back and use the appropriate hardware to pass inspection. Only thing is is that pur pre foxed nails are not seen so there for not counted. I guess atleast we have peace of mind as caroenters we know in our minds it will never be moving anywhere.

Cross brace is technically not correct as it’s not wrapped under bottom plate.
