I love how you can create recruits on this game. Even if you're not a powerhouse, you can get that created player easily. Make him with specific attributes and change their position once they're recruited. For example, if you create a center but only give him point guard attributes and vice versa, he'll be a 1 to 3 star recruit until you change him once they're on your team. Then they'll be from an 85 to 99 overall.

I been playing the shit out of this since it got cold. I currently got UNC-Wilmington on big dog status (rated 92+ usually) with 5 national championships after starting out at Winston Salem State and Iowa. My whole team got NBA size starting with my PG at 6'5" 225!

Before you start a career legacy, make 5 players 99 overall and put them in the reserves. Have your lowest rated players starting to make your school still look weak. Once you start the career, rearrange your lineup. You'll win every year to build up program. Before they graduate create recruits but with opposite positions. To make a point guard, create a center but with point guard skills. No inside shooting but maxed mid and 3pt. No rebounding or inside defense and no potential but steals and passing maxed with offensive awareness. With a center, point guard with center attributes. Inside shooting, no mid or 3pt, limited passing, maxed rebounding, decent speed, no potential, 70 offensive and defensive awareness. You can make a few of these starting your career mode as freshmen. That way they'll have 4 years of being contacted by you by the time your original starting 5 leaves.

This is the most underrated comment. I never thought about making recruits with the wrong attributes but I did add a 90 ovr players to the worst team and they were still low enough for me to pick in the beginning of the game

You should always start with all your attributes at Charisma it helps when recruiting. Start with world or juco players

Go after those 3/4 star world players and try getting those juco 3 stars in the beginning of your career

Sometimes they don't pop up or they don't be interested. I just fill the roster with any 3 star recruits until my school gets better.

I got this game for like less than 100 bucks. Though when it comes to my legacy I am going the old school way of ball that I feel people overlook. Big men in the post, defense and fundamentals F all the flashy players and plays!

Just lost to my backups too. Tho my best player is 53 and worst 46. Went on to beat a 69 overall team first game of season. Won by 1. My 53 overall player went off for 32 points. I luv this game.
