I was 34 and 36 when I had my children. There are many benefits to waiting; especially if you are determined to be proactive in all aspects of their lives. You look like a happy person. Your skin is glowing. You will enjoy pregnancy. My niece was 44 when she gave birth first. She enjoyed it then and after. Her child is beautiful. I have no idea of your age, but it is "your" age to have a child. My mother was a "change of Life" baby. My Nona was in her 50"s. She had no problems with her pregnancy and my mom had no issues. We love being older parents of twins! We’re patient and don’t feel like we have to compete with our personal goals and dreams because we’ve already accomplished much of everything we’ve wanted to do. I appreciate you speaking about being unable to conceive. I have been married for 10 years this year and after MANY miscarriages and trauma, decided we must be okay with it most likely not happening. It's hard with everyone asking why we don't have kids etc. We have decided to be happy just the two of us. Who knows what life has in store for us,, but I'm SO happy for you two! Did Guido just touch himself when you said touch wood? Lol. You are both an absolute delight. Parenthood in all it's uncertainties will make you see a different world. You have loving family and friends. It does take a village to raise a child and you are setting them up for a great education and a grand adventure. Many blessings to you and yours and baby peanut. I have 7 kids, and I adore my husband and our life together. God bless, and congratulations! I can't believe people have commented so "interestingly". I didn't notice the breathing or allergies. My husband healed his seasonal allergies by eating local bee pollen. He started with an eighth teaspoon a day, and worked up to half teaspoon. He only did it for a few months during the height of allergy season, and he's been so much better ever since. Also, drinking tons of raspberry leaf tea throughout your pregnancy keeps the uterus toned, prevents hemorrhage, and really does help. I've implemented it, and not, and my pregnancies that I drank it were the smoothest.

Hello from Maryland USA. I love your values, this is very rare nowadays. We never said anything either until after the first trimester. We hid our disagreements. All my friends are older parents (had their kids in their late 30s) and there are more stability. Also, they've gone through therapy so they know their own traumas and they know which ones they dont want to pass to their children. I sympathise and empathise with you sukey, as I also have been going through a very difficult time.
