As a newcomer, we always tried to save up 💸 as much as we could and lived a very simple life. Our main goal then was to save up enough for a decent down payment on our first home. 🏠
Two years, lots of hard work, and lots of savings later… here we are! 😀
In this video, we share with you our monthly expenses 💲 and cost of living in Kitchener Waterloo. We share our expenses as homeowners v/s as newcomers living on rent. This will give you a better idea of the cost of living in Kitchener Waterloo. 🏠 🚗
Of course, every family/ person is different and have their own needs, wants and limits - we are only sharing our experience, based on our income and our goals.
We are Ankita and Akshit - Indian (🇮🇳) couple in Canada (🇨🇦). We moved from Delhi to Kitchener, Ontario as permanent residents in 2019 and have been here for over 2 years. We have settled down into our preferred jobs and bought our first home in these two years and we want to share our experiences about life in Canada and living in Kitchener, Ontario.
