I'm a big believer in "if you can't say anything positive, don't say anything at all." I've found as the years go by that the world is not only getting crazier but people are becoming more cruel and extremely VAIN, and it's so sad to see. We need to spread positivity and happiness and stop putting people down because we are all different, look different, like different things, and live differently. I just don't understand people who feel it's their right to post negative comments. Thank you so much for this channel you have created, I truly enjoy watching it. I'm loving watching the process of the house build. I find it very interesting and informative. Your storm shelter build was very interesting, I've never seen anyone building a storm shelter in their home and it's something I would be very interested in doing if I'm ever able to build my own house which is something I've always wanted to do. I really enjoyed this vlog. When Nelson was talking about morals, he hit the nail on the head. Parents these days expect the teacher to teach their children to ty their shoes along with teach them how to act. That comes from home. Yami I was like you when my children were in school I spoke up and they heard me to. I did it in a nice way. We built our own home 40 years ago. It was hard but I would do it again. We are still in the same house. It was built by my dad and husband. So I got everything I wanted. I designed 2 bedrooms neutral because we didn't have children yet and they changed them paint color and all at least 3 times a piece. I love you both, if you get tired of the negative comments just block them. Keep up the great videos because I'll be there. Y'all are a great team and great parents. Can't wait for the upcoming videos.

Oh my goodness! Nelson telling how you met was so sweet and funny! I loved your story. I taught English as a second language to adults for 21 years. As a way to encourage students to feel comfortable speaking, I asked them to tell the class how they met their spouses. Some were in the same class with me. It was heartwarming to hear their stories and see the look on their faces as they remembered those times. So sweet!

I'm still watching but I had to comment on the haters. If they want to complain about the REAL LIFE you showed, they should go watch HGTV shows. YOU are real. YOU are authentic. YOU have gone through real things in life like the miscarriage, the baby pooping and taking off her diaper, your day not going right, living on top of each other in a small space. You've shown what it's really like and I love that about you. I love that your Vlogs were real and you, whether exhausted, heartbroken, happy, sad, whatever. People can be so, I don't know, themselves I guess. Close minded come to me and the reason being, is because I do like better seeing the good, the bad & the ugly when it comes to building a home. I do not say this out of my own home building experience but as a little girl, my grandparents (mamas mama😊) they built there own home and had to live in their Camping Trailer while it was being built or and sometimes my Gram stayed next door over the creek, at her mamas house. And so then when they were able to move into the house while waiting on the carpet and lighting, and etc., they moved in their bedroom and we got to stay over, we even had a Christmas before it was completely down cause it was the only place big enough for their children and us grandkids and all other family and friends that came by. You know, it is definitely a labor of Love to which ya'll are doing building your home!! It's exciting because when you and the Latino Engineer broke ground it was only five and now it just seem like it'd be that more special bringing in your brand new baby in your families brand new home and the equality for each of you. Pay no mind to what the "close minded folk!" They can always watch someone if they really think a home is made in a couple video shoots! I like carpet in bedrooms also, make sure your flooring is dog friendly because my son and daughter in law had dogs that peed on the floor's and it wrecked them the place they bought them from said they would be good with dog's and they were not!
