Our most expensive campsite is $160 a night at cedar point in Ohio

Our dogs like the dog park at the campground and it’s a social hub for dog owners and dogs. We also like to take the boat to the Wilderness Lodge (looks similar to Old Faithful Inn) and have a meal and drink there. You can also take a boat from the campground to the Contemporary Hotel and take the monorail to the Polynesian or Grand Floridian Hotel for sight seeing ,meals and drinks.

Fort Wilderness is one of our favorite resorts! We've done both RV and cabins before. We'll be back in two months!

Great video. The park looks nice and the Hollywood studio looked fun too! Mm I love the smell of pine trees. Glad that park is close to DisneyWorld. Someday I would love to go to DisneyWorld. Glad they have a bus that picks you up to take you to the parks. Oh no truck issues. Can’t wait yo find out next week what happened. Have a great week and see you soon! Stay safe!

Yeah, sooooo glad i got rid of my solitude too, like such a sense of relief. And night n day pack up difference with truck camper, takes like 10 mins n thats including emptying the tanks n putting water, sewer n electrical away. Way back when i had just travel trailer it seemed to take forever to pack up n go 🙄, n then with the 5th wheel it seemed to never end! 😂🍻

Totally agree! We love packing up super fast and hitting the road now. 😄

We stayed in the 200 loop and loved it. My niece is a captain on the ferryboat and my nephew works at the Boathoyse in Disney Springs. One of my favorite campgrounds.

The park looks nice, but pine needles will catch fire and burn like crazy. They should be using mulch..

My question is my poodle. I can’t leave my dog in the motorhome all day while I’m at a theme park. Do they have dog walkers or pet day care if so how much?
@GetawayCouple8 ай бұрын
We were concerned about that too so we ended up not going the whole day. But they do have a pet daycare, you can find more information on it here: disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/best-friends-pet-care/

Pine needles are acidic, so it probably keeps the weeds down.
@GetawayCouple8 ай бұрын
Ah, I’m sure that’s an added benefit!

You are right about the pine straw keeping down the weeds! We only use pine straw in our Florida yard. Our dogs prefer it over mulch.

Did I hear you say the Tavern for dine in is closed? Were you there recently? My daughter is going in a couple of weeks and will be devastated if she can’t go or get take out coffee on the golf cart!

It’s related to Disney. Why wouldn’t it be expensive? My husband took my grandson to a late lunch today at a resort by our house. It cost them $75 almost $76 for that meal. They got charged a service charge of $12.00. My husband text me and asked if the service charge was the tip. And I told him no. That’s just for them to make money. And he said he tipped the waiter or waitress ten dollars. That was an expensive lunch. I went to Disney with my mom and sister the first time. Probably when it first opened. I know is been over fifty years ago. We took our daughters. My husband hated it. He hates crowds. So I haven’t been back. We thought about taking the grandkids. Maybe if we hit the lottery. We have seven grandkids, three step grandkids and a great grandson. So that would cost us a pretty penny.

I don’t think it is. We live in Georgia. Nowhere near Disney. It’s just a resort. I know it’s owned by Berkshire Hathaway. Which means Warren Buffett.
