I'm solo but just put up colored string lights in large living room window, feels so great to decorate! I love all ur home decorating vlogs from the past. as someone who just bought her first home and doing ALOT of renovation it's so fun challenging but rewarding for sure and I love that I get to follow along with you in yours now!! ❤ Big tip I've learned is don't rush it! You have this home forever and even though it's easy to get sucked in and start a bunch of projects at once..decision fatigue is real and you want to be thoughtful and happy with them so take your time and make it fun!

Absolutely love this home. Such a homey family cozy feel to it. My husband and I picked up and left Dallas to move to Tennessee. We love it here and are looking for a home with the same kind of feel. Once you have kids your priorities change. I totally understand the need to leave the city life behind and want something more wholesome and where you can have traditions with your family. Plus the land !! Bryson and any future kids will have a blast growing up in that environment. Congrats Renee. So happy for you and your family. ❤

I get up in a town with about 100 people, everything (school, grocery store, hospital) was a 30 minute drive away. But now I live in a small city and the grocery store is maybe 10 minutes away.

The fact that you just moved & trying to do vlogmas is incredible. Your house looks so amazing already. I live in a town just out of Toronto (perhaps 40 minutes to 1 hr drive away). There’s a Starbucks at the end of my street I can get to into about 10-15 minutes walk & then another shopping plaza with a grocery store & all the other things you could need.
