Worked a little further on the concept Cut down on the katakuri pack (the small katas were cool when paired up with the 8 drop ones but kinda bad without them and trying to run more types of kata to value him together with the egg pack took too much space, so i doubled down on " KO" units) 1drops : 4x pudding 4x we're going to claim the one piece 3 drops 4x perospero (on ko searcher) 4x tamago 4x bege (never played) 3x black maria (2k and sometimes leads to shenanegans sometimes i take out one of the top end bricks to run 12 2ks upping het to 4) 5 drops: 4x hiyoko 4x queen 6 drops 3x niwatori (don't really want him on hand but want him on rotation and need to run at least 3) 4x ramp katakuri 4x sanji (2k blocker) Drop 7 2x big mom (dropping her on turn 4 with perospero/hiyoko and 7k kata and some extra dons aplying pressure leads to some neat lose/lose scenarios for oponents Drop 8 2x katakuri (deals with kuzans, laboons, morias, annoys B/Y Luffy and heal some puddings for extra searches and to be set down by 7k kata after deramping with kaido) Drop 9 4x kaido This build is enritely searcheable and plays closer to pluffy but with some better turn 1 plays, and neat ways to recover after going for kaido, using 7k kata and pudding The small drop 2 kata allowing you to heal drop and heal a beige with a drop 8 kata from hand for 5 don or dropping double 8 cost katakuris are neat but i opted to focus on recursion and constant pressure so it went out I went for perospero and tamago to have solid 3 drops that allow me to either apply or relieve pressure (both if i got niwatori on hand) to play kata on turn 3 I opted out of drop 9 linlin and drop 10 linlin to have more spare don and reduce my reliance on reaching 10 don, so drop 7 linlin plays nice and allows it to be dropped with extra tamagos or perosperos Having fun with the deck

Game 1 when you tried to kata his issho but forgot he's now a 9 cost. This is why Luffy wins, myself included always forgets that the board is getting plus 1 cost which helps far more than it should

The lists that I saw that focus on Black cards are more consistent than most Black Leaders. He plays better if you ignore "Ramping" and do "aggressive countering" instead.

EDIT : this combo doesnt work i just cant read cards it seems🤦‍♂ Loved the video and it inspired me a super high roll build that can ramp to 9DON by turn 3!!! going second, tought you might like it. Turn 1(2 Dons) : Going second play 2cost kata Turn 2(4 Dons) : Play Mr2 Bonclay(5 Dons)-Use pudding attack (6 Dons)-Use 2cost kata you played previous turn (opponent is at 3 don so you can play 6cost kata) ramp to 7Dons Turn 3 (9Dons) : ENJOY !!!

"opponent is at 3 don so you can play 6cost kata" ?? you can technically only play a 3c kata then, your opponent needs to be at 6 don. Read the effect again ^^

@@cozycarry lmao i read the card as if it was saying cost 3 or greater then the total of the number of don your opponent has. i cant read 🤦‍♂
