FYI, Fairlife milk is “ultra-filtered” to remove the lactose. “Ultra” is just the size of the filter they use and indicates the milk is filtered to a higher degree than regular milk to remove that lactose. Nothing sketchy 😊

Cody this may be too simple but your shoes might be tied too tight, so when your feet swell during the run the blood circulation is cut off and that’s why your feet go numb and need you to walk to get feeling back in them. Had a very similar feeling and was able to fix it by loosening up the shoes a bit. God speed brother
@gabbab958822 күн бұрын
Probably swells and compresses a nerve because veinous blood builds up from the tight shoe. Compression socks may help but I don’t think any studies really support them.

D1 Runner here: if your feet are going numb during every run you most likely have a knot or somewhere or have an area that is really tight further up you leg such as your calf. You can work on the tight spots by working it out with a massage gun or use a foam roller and just lay the tight spot on the roller for a minute. Hope that’s helpful and love the vids! 1:10

FOR KELSEY: fairlife does make 30g protein shakes in that same bottle that has a white wrapper. then they have these "elite core" protein shakes. one has 26g of protein and the other has 42g of protein. they're pretty convenient for when you can't cook and just need to meet protein counts. for reference im pretty sure the 42g protein shake fairlife offers is 230 calories.

Hi Cody I just completed my first session of Couch to 5k today. I’ve been watching you for years and been with you since the start of Cody Trains… I’ve been putting off getting more active (particularly to start running) since you started this channel but I’ve watched every single video of yours and seeing you running has given me the bug of wanting to run and each video has given me a kick up the backside to just get out and do it and today I did! so thank you! I’m 25 from the UK and my wife and I are having a baby in October so I want to be someone who is healthy and energetic for when the baby arrives! You’re my biggest inspiration so again thank you!

About the numbness in your legs, I used to experienced the same thing when training for triathlons. I did physical therapy because it ended up being an issue with my lower back! I recommend getting it looked into sooner rather than later. I ignored it and had to drop out of a race.
