Hey Carson, thanks for another great video. Your niece Paisley and nephew Easton are sure cute. Jacques is sure a great addition to your crew. Coming from South Africa it must be hard for him to adapt to the climate. It is hard to believe that it took 3 guys and a chute to allow that poor calf to nurse from the mother, especially after a C Section birth. Hats off to all that work on the ranch, for all the hard work, to keep the ranch running and successful.

Back in the late 80’s and early 90’s I volunteered at the Sutton Aviary up in the Osage near Bartlesville, Ok. We brought eagle eggs from Florida, hatched them in incubators, hand fed them with eagle puppets and helped get their numbers back up and off the endangered species list. Since then, I feel a bit of responsibility when there’s trouble involving eagles 🦅 always hoping for harmony between them and farmers. You have the cutest little helpers! How adorable your niece and nephew are! Thanks for raising beef to feed people. Thanks for sharing!

LOL! Naughty cow got out of its pen eh? You gotta' love kids! I've been worrying about you all and the Sonne family too during this recent brutal cold. Up here in the mountains in Montana, our coldest temp. was 48 below zero with a bit of windchill added. Just grand weather for calving, pig farrowing, water tank heaters not able to even think about keeping up, froze up trucks even with block heaters, well, you know! All the FUN stuff! Sure hope you were able to keep calves and all alive. Sure been wishing you the best, that's for sure!

Must the things my grandparents and dad did and I still did it too How strange it is to see these old ways. But the only difference is we took our calves into the house. Lol great video. Plus we didn't have fancy tractors just a team and a Farmall H steel wheeled front two wheels close together. Miss the farm. Thank you for taking me along.

I farmed in eastern IA. near the Mississippi river. We had a lot of bald eagles during the winter. We raised hogs and after spreading manure from the farrowing house the eagles would eat the placentas and pigs that had been stillborn or laid on. Our local vet called them 💩 eaters.

When my kids turned 2 they rode in the tractor all the time and they would be in the tractor with me and 5 minutes later they would be out cold sleeping, I think between the radio and the tractor ride with a bump here and there did it, and then they would wake up when they were hungry.
