Katie id love, if you felt comfortable, to expand on how the end of your breastfeeding journey has been. I know everyone is so different but if you felt comfortable talking about how and why you stopped, I’d love to hear about it. My baby is 16 months and still BF. She still needs it for sleep and as much as I’d love my body back, I don’t know when I’ll be ready to let it go! But when that time comes, hearing your story may help me feel better about it. I was curious, too. I have an almost 16-month-old who began weening herself shortly after she turned 1. It was a bitter sweet process for me. I am happy to have my body back but I miss it, the bond truly is indescribable. I was happy that I did not have to go through her being upset about weening but it was still hard on me.

Hi Katie and Josh! When my oldest son was a baby, I somehow started calling him "Pooper". I don't know why; he was just my Little Pooper. After his first birthday, my daycare lady suggested that I stop calling him Pooper. She said, "If you don't stop, one day he'll walk into kindergarten and tell the other kids "My name is Pooper." And the rest of his life, kids are going to be shoving him into lockers." I thought she was right, so I stopped. 😳 He's 27 now. 😃
