If the video shows him firing at a fleeing suspect he will be considered completely in the wrong according to the law. There is no self-defense if you shoot at a fleeing suspect that no longer poses an immediate threat. That would be considered revenge or get back. If that is determined by the video evidence then technically he would have been in the commission of a felony when that young girl was shot and killed.

The robber was shooting back at the robbery victim. Also the shooting victims father stopped the car in middle of the incident and it he could have been easily be mistaken for an accomplice. It makes since because hitting a target 1 to 2 blocks is hard with pistol especially at night. They are only showing 2 grainy videos and that bank, like all banks, should have several working cameras. Why 2 videos? One with the guy hopping a fence and one with nobody in the footage but you can hear the gun shots? Blur the footage why take it down?
