I've stayed for quite a few years at Near Sawrey a stones throw from windermere. Keswick is beautiful during the winter with blueskies and fells covered in snow. FL2 needed all the time up there because you always get rain and floods. Love the way it comes out of almost every drystone wall 😂. Great vid👍

We can't wait to go back up there at some point in the future but hopefully go a bit more equipped for its terrain 😁. We only dipped a toe into the water of the beauty of the Lake District, so hopefully, we can explore it more. We were very glad we had the Freelander and not the Yeti with how flooded the roads were getting! When we went past those stone walls with the water flooding out, it didn't half take us by surprise as we never have anything like that down here 😂. - Scott

I think its somewhere near Windermere is a road called the struggle. Probably would have been in that weather.

Next time we go back there, it'll be on our list of roads to try. 😁 We were quite happy to stick to the safe roads this time around 😄. - Scott

Keswick and walk to the end (friers cragg) is a must and if u want to drive one of the steepest roads in England that's thing and twisty with switch back then u want wrynose and hard hardknott pass ... ideally on a day with better weather .... the first part after u been parked up and u talked about the snowy hill infront of you is Ambleside... and from the mini roundabout is another decent pass called kirkstone pass
