I love how the whole family is together outside while the kids play, just taking it all in. Other than filming, no cell phones. The kids have their undivided attention. No one is in a hurry or bored. You don’t have to converse. Just relax in the moment and enjoy the peace. Living in the moment. Such a beautiful family.

From the bottom of my heart...thank you Joy Anna and Austin for sharing a part of your family life with us. I'm 72 and was really, really missing all of you! Gideon and Evy sure have gotten bigger! Can't wait to see how the RV turns out. Austin is fantastic when it comes out to totally remodeling or building from scratch and when you, Joy helps with all the final touches - it turns out to be awesome! You need a dehumidifier for it. We use 5mm underlayment for shiplap. Lowes cuts it down for you.

So fun remodeling! That’s how my husband and I met 36 years ago. I would love to get an RV 2 years before retirement so we can remodel it for endless vacations to see the USA! By then the girls will have families of their own (but will try to borrow it too).

I say the same thing about soup and not eating it until it’s cooler or downright cold, but now at age 79 I’ve had many years to think about it and now I say why wait, daily most of us eat food that we have cooked and it’s hot when we sit down to eat, I only make a few soups, and the one I like best is cheap to make and my whole family likes it, and it’s just hamburger soup, I got the recipe just over 50 years ago, have not changed it at all because I’ve always thought it was perfect as it was, and I always make cornbread to go with it. So it’s funny that I would say go ahead and eat soup on a day like today when it’s around 110 degrees! So maybe it’s really too hot to cook anything and just order in from Panera. You have a lovely family Joy, I hope y’all are doing well.
