Voles have been a problem in my greenhouse the last two years. At first I thought they were little mice but nope. They were voles. We saturated a whole bag of cotton balls with oil of peppermint and tossed a bunch along the walls and a bunch on the tables with the plants. Voles and mice are highly allergic to oil of peppermint. We killed 2 or 3 and the rest left on their own.

@@steveviau7159 that trap works great on mice in the barn 👍. We catch at least one every day or so….But Voles never would get near the trap when we tried it in the greenhouse. I guess our Tennessee voles are finicky… lol. Have a blessed day 😃

We have a small mom &pop greenhouse in Canada. We had the same issue last year. It ended up being voles. They are devastating to many start crops and continue damage in the gardens clearing out root vegetables from underneath the soil. We had a beautiful crop of beets and carrots last year, until we went to harvest. We had a big amount with a very healthy top growth, but without the veggie attached.
