I have the Fpace SVR and the Ftype R just for the 5L SC. The BMW engine was a no go for me. If this had the 5L I would have ordered one right away

Same I have the sport SVR carbon edition and was in the timeframe to upgrade but now I’m just keeping the SVR because this one is just shit. Not a huge fan of the new look and the engine don’t get me started

Having owned the last model carbon edition fully loaded in special order paint for 107k the price increase is unsustainable for me. I have no doubt it will handle great but you cannot compare to an Urus or DBX which is a bespoke vehicle, the downfall of this vehicle is that you can get a p530 brand new at the moment for 100k and that’s falling day by day. There isn’t such a significant difference in styling and performance to warrant an extra 80k. In fact you would be hard pressed to differentiate between this and a well spec’d base model on looks alone, that’s the big difference between this and something like an urus which isn’t available in much lower drivetrain options, hence the reason why this will depreciate faster than a falling meteor! Fantastic spec and colour on this though, for money no object motoring it will be hard to beat as a daily.

I suppose that will depend on a number of things, age, postcode, points etc etc. if you are 18 and live in London or Birmingham and have 11 points on your licence then I would imagine it’s going to be extremely expensive or not at all 😂

100k over the previous gen SVR?? Is it really worth it? I get new tech with McLaren bits and the BMW V8 but is it worth 100k over an already GOOD car. I'm already not a fan of the taillight design and the entire backend, I think 5.0 SVR is the way to go

I traded my range rover sport v8 natural to a 2022 defender 90 with the turbo six and I think it has more horsepower than my old v8 and I think it gets great gas mileage, as I always only owned v8 motor vehicles, except for my old wrangler which I still like for off roading better than the defender, I know the Defender is capable but I miss my straight axles, but on the road the Defender 90 feels like a Cadillac with the air suspension, my wife and I love it on trips. She loves to drive it she has a range rover sport that she loves. Anyways I wish I had that range rover sport sv that is a beautiful luxury I would love to get that for my wife but oh you just said the price. Ouch

Insurance no issue, it’s in north wales so not London but £960, 15k miles with business use🤷🏼‍♂️certainly had worse!

It’s hard to fathom that price, I never imagined one day Range Rover Sports will cost £150 k to £200k, 😮Daaaamn Son.

Take a look at the price of entry level cars, ford fiestas start at £19k + now, cars have skyrocketed. At the high cost end of the market that increase has been magnitudes greater. Aventador £265k entry price to Revuelto £433k! It’s the replacement model 🥴 And that’s before you add options or go up the model versions. The RRS SV one edition is a special edition and loaded with options, the standard sv I imagine will be about £20k more than the current standard top spec P550e version of the sport so circa £130-150k retail. Life is just more expensive sadly 🤷🏼‍♂️
