@@nitishralhan8169 no idea about contract marriages because I haven’t come across anyone who has done that. All I know is that immigration is super strict about fake marriages and they have a lot of checks and balances to make sure every file is scrutinized to see the authenticity of the relationship. Marrying someone for citizenship and later leaving them to marry someone else can lead to its own complications. If caught it can ban you from Canada forever.

Congrats guys, thanks for the video. My husband and I just got married July 31, the week after he went back to Mexico to visit family, he's coming back this Saturday. Do we need our Marriage Certificate to apply for PR? We have most of the paperwork done, just waiting for him to get back and get everything together and send it out! Thanks for any info! It was our understanding that applying for PR inside of Canada he can't leave until it's complete, that's why he went to visit family. 20 photos and 20 pages are different things. If IRCC wants Maximum 20 photos from the applicant and we submit 80 photos by including 4 photos apiece on each page, isn't it non compliance of IRCC regulations? and if its allowed, why didn't they say Max. 20 pages in the application guide?

Well they accepted it for us. Nothing was sent back and we got spousal PR in 3 months. I can’t speak for IRCC. You do what feels right to you.

If you have not received the Acknowledgement of Receipt email with your 10-digit file number then IRCC will not be able to check on your application at all as it has not yet been entered into the system. Until you receive the AOR email with the file number, there is no way to track the application. Your only means of confirming that it has been received by IRCC is the delivery confirmation from the courier company you used. If you have the delivery confirmation then you can only wait

Malar, I am so sorry I missed this comment somehow. Ask him some questions, why didn't he submit his passport to vfs after he got his PPR confirmation? IRCC recently reduced the spousal sponsorship processing time from up to 26 months to 12 months for both in-Canada and outside of Canada applications. Do some research, look at these links www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=054&top=10 and prepare some questions and ask him about them. Do keep me posted. Good luck.

Hey there, thanks for watching. That’s nothing to worry about. Files goes to different places to get processed. The most common countries are either of the partner’s country. Don’t worry. It’s all in order.

I hv sponsored my wife and her two kids, applied on 27th March 2021: got documents received letter on 6th May. 6th July we got biometric letters and they did the biometrics next day. Same day my status on sponsorship changed to decision made and I received a letter saying u approved as sponsor for ur wife and her two dependent children. They also mentioned that documents are now sent to London visa office for her PR process. On 22nd July the online account I the status changed from received to submitted. Do u know how long does it take after this? I didn’t involve any agent or consultants and I tried to make a fool proof package. Status also says that no AdditionalDocuments are needed. Thanku so much for the video dear. It is really helping a lot. Actually i just wanted to ask what should be done for the passport adress updation as this takes a long time . Firstly my spouse adress has to be updated then mine then again my passport ll go for Pcc. So this ll take a lot of time and my spouse has to leave after a month. So should i go ahead with the process this way only. Or no adress and no surname addition would be fine. ?

Why do you need to update your passport for spousal PR? Marriage certificate is enough proof. I still have my parents address in my old passport and it didn’t matter at all.

Unlike most other forms of Canadian sponsorship, you do not need to demonstrate a minimum amount of income to sponsor a spouse, conjugal partner, or common-law partner. However, whenever you sponsor a family member to Canada, you must sign an undertaking, in which you promise to provide financial support for the basic needs of your sponsored family member. The length of the undertaking depends on the category of sponsorship. For spousal sponsorship (including spouses and common-law or conjugal partners), the length of the undertaking is 3 years. Like I mentioned in the video you shouldn’t be bankrupt or on welfare. If you have a job then you don’t need to show any savings, if unemployed you should show that you have enough money to take care of them and have savings

How do we save each others phone numbers ? I have saved my husband's phone number as LOVE and my husband has saved my number as BLESSED WIFE. Will this work or we have to save phone numbers with our actual names ?

The nicknames should be fine, they will look at everything as parts of a big picture and not just focus on one thing. When you take screen shots of call duration on what’s app, the phone number is also visible so that’s important.

Numbers are not important for chats so don’t worry about it, for calls keep it less complicated. You don’t have to submit many screenshots so choose the best ones from your numbers. Try to keep your application simple for the case officer to go through. The faster they understand things, the faster you get the green light.

Thank you for subscribing Alisha. I hope I would be able to provide you with content that entertains and informs. 1. I didn’t include a notice of assessment because when I applied for my husband’s PR I hadn’t filed my taxes in Canada. It was my first few months in Canada. I also attached the previous years Indian ITR I did attach my employment contract along with a letter of explanation saying why I haven’t filed taxes. 2. No proof for shared expenses. I lived in Canada and he lived in India so how could we share expenses. Not logical right? I did attach a few Canadian bank statements where he had sent me some money for example on my birthday 3. We printed pictures on A4 size photo paper.4 pics per page - 20 pages in total Please do remember that our application was done in 2019 and rules might have changed since then. Do your research and use your best logic :)

I have already applied for express entry..along with my husband..our score is 464 right now(my husband is trying to improve his IELTS score).when I apply alone it is 473. So my doubts are.. 1.if in case I have to go alone..will I be able to sponsor him with a survival job because I plan to study there after getting PR nd I cannot work there directly since I am a dentist. 2.we have been married for more than 2 years.. So we don't have our old chats or call logs with us..also we are not active in fb.. Does the sponsorship undertaking also include costs for prescription medicine for spouse? Or can that be taken care of under the province's health benefits?

For the first three months of your partner being in Canada they have no health benefits from the province. Neither do you when you first land. Health benefits only begin after three months of you being in a province. When a permanent resident first comes in they purchase a health insurance lasting first three months and can bring their prescription medicine from their own country (along with a proper prescription to show for at customs) You then find a doctor in Canada and they will re-examine you and prescribe you medicines. In BC medicines are very expensive and Pharma care doesn’t cover much. One can always explore a personal health benefits plan. So to answer your question. You take care of the medicine till the spouse gets their health benefits after 3 months and stay ready to pay from your pocket as medicines don’t have much coverage especially in BC.
