Just subscribed!! Hours of one enjoyable video after another. Smiles and tears await. I was born in 1950 and raised on a productive, thriving farm (Except the occasional bad days, weeks, months and sometimes years. We raised and grew EVERY thing! Primarily cows and the Great Blizzard in Tennessee was a tough year. My Dad and Grandfather said it felt like every cow they had a calf during that paralyzing blizzard! They passed to the Big Pasture in the Sky many years ago! I would love to see the shock and awe at the equipment and advances of a ranch in 2023!

You have a great story. I have a similar story as my father passed away in 2013 while I was a senior in high school. I graduated and graduated attempted to go to college. Bill's pilled up and I had to quit school to go to work and help support our farm. We had 3 chicken houses and a small cow calf operation consisting of a round 20 cows and a bull. On current time I have sold the chicken houses and my wife and I are expecting our first baby girl in October. I have worked hard and built the herd to 80 cows and 2 bulls. Your story inspires me and I'm looking forward to all your future videos

I came across your channel today, and I’m hooked. My wife and I live in NJ, and she commutes to NYC every day. We have an inside joke… any time the commute is bad, she’ll text me just one word… “Wyoming” and that means she wants to buy a ranch and get out of dodge!

You don't necessarily have to go to Wyoming, although it's a great state and ranching would be a great life. It's very hard physical work and very expensive to get into. My family left for a more rural and less expensive state and we are loving it.

I just bumped into this channel today and saw your comment, so I'm curious to know did you and your wife make it out of Jersey yet?? I finally got out of there (Passaic county) last year, moved south and I'm loving it down here. If you live in Bergen or Essex counties and come down you'll probably pay around 14 times less a year on property taxes. and on a bigger house and yard. Also, no snow or cold in the winter. Just wish I had done this sooner

Their have been some extremely hard times here on the farm, and the learning curve here is more serious than any other job, .But i love what we are doing and i wouldn't change it for the world.I even have a you tube channel,It is nowhere near as fancy as yours but i have really been enjoying it. Our Wyoming Life Thats something. 100 years. A real familly bussinnes. What i really like is that your farm seems to be on huge area of land (at last its my impression from your videos). Second video I've seen Mike, and I was right! Yappari, you are a radio man. Anyway, man, that western freezing cold desert place amazes me how you can make it. My home in southeast is a totally different world, trees everywhere that need cutting down so room for something else to grow.
@OurWyomingLife7 жыл бұрын
I knew it! lol Desert can be an accurate description at times, other times its green and growing but it all depends on the rain. I do wish we had more trees and we are in the process of planting more, but they are difficult to keep going. Erin planted an apple orchard this summer and hopefully we have success.
