Thank you for sharing. When you mentioned you had friends you involved, it got me thinking. You must have very matured friends that were not judgemental. Thats a great thing. Plus getting your husband to attend counseling....thats a miracle for a Nigerian man. Again, thank you for teaching us to be intentional.

@histreasure31897 ай бұрын
💯 It's a different ball game for Nigerian couples who relocate to the west. That's why I think it's an overly simplistic thinking to conclude that the Nigerian immigrant marriages that end in separation or divorce is majorly because they had already had the issues from back home. It's a lot more complicated than that.

I think content creators should also prioritise their relationships. We know you have to give us contents but don't forget yourselves. Some people have become glued to the virtual space and are always expecting something to be posted. Another thing is most content creators are subtly shading other people and doing 'coded' competition (pepper them, I have arrived, I am better than you mentality) especially with their spouse, kids, new house etc. So, most of them all they think of is what they want to post and in the long run forget their relationship subconsciously

@MARINAESIRI7 ай бұрын
I think it depends on the specific situation. If there is physical abuse, I totally agree with separation. Staying apart for a while helps sometimes.
