I lived in sudan from 1994 to 1998 in khartoum shafa sherik area . and i was working in sukel shabe. there is no question how welcoming people are sudanese. i would say my eyes are opened in khartoum about the world for the first time. there is lot of similarities between ethiopian and sudanese culture. i would like to say sorry about the current war going on in the country wish you the best.

Sudan was my home for 13 years. I had the privilege to work around most of northern Sudan - Matema,Shendi,Atbara ,Damer,Barbara,Merewi,Karima, Dongola....I am not exaggerating to say that the Sudanese people are amazingly kind-hearted and generous people on planet earth. Certainly those who lived in Sudan agree with me. I miss my life in Sudan immensely.
