This absolutely looks like a very good option for long term hunts. On the surface it’s a little spendy, but I know after three days in inclement weather it would be worth it.

Reminds me of my old Cabela's Ultimate Alaknak. Basically, same easy setup and material. Hardware is a little different, not much. The roof shape makes it awkward to cover with poly tarps for rain and snow and being a single wall design condensates like a rain forest with snow on the top and a heater or stove running inside. No thanks, been there, done that. $3500 plus tax and freight, that's crazy.

We actually didn't have any issues with condensation through rain and snow. The Alaknak is a poly based material (if I remember right) that doesn't breath or absorb water, and I have experienced the condensation in that tent like you talk about. It sucks. The canvas didn't have that problem. Keep in mind that $3500 covers everything you need including the floor, stove, and even a hammer. It's not the cheapest tent on the market by any means but we didn't think it was overpriced.

It may not be overpriced relative to the amount of materials and effort put into construction plus profit margin, but it’s still ridiculous. Everything about the hunting space is getting to be that way. It’s a damn shame.
