The reason live action adaptations don't work is because they never respect the source material. The effects of the halo show were amazing, but they made the plot into a generic "chosen one" story, and John is never in the armor. The new mortal kombat movie didn't even have a mortal kombat tournament.

I think it’s also because live action tries to get a general audience, rather than the specific fan base. I’m pretty sure that’s why they rarely actually have the original voice actors in roles, because they need actors that’ll attract a general audience. Cyberpunk works because there’s obviously an overlap with anime fans and gamers.

I wouldn’t call this anime predictable as much as it just falls into anime tropes. Like the main characters mom dying called that one coming but again what anime doesn’t have the main characters mom die. So it follows a lot of tropes but overall was a great anime especially since most people had zero expectations for it I think that’s what makes it so good

So the repeating words and weird dialogue is only when the characters call each other and is not exclusive to David. This isn't in the game and it's honestly a really weird creative choice on behalf of the anime. My theory is that they did this to show as a side effect of digital telepathy. Like your thoughts bouncing words around as quickly as possible. Because when they call on the holophone, their mouths never move. There is two normal calls where they are speaking directly and they don't have the repeating words.

For Elvis Storytime : It's great that everyone has it's own views on the world. Yes, you have to be prudent. But what anxious people always forgot is that the situation you experience in your life isn't the same everywhere. You guys live in the US. I can take you to southen french villages 10 km from my home, who are neither to isolated or too city-like, with like 3000 to 4000 inhabitants, where people don't even lock their doors. Not because they are naive, but because they don't need to. It strucks me when i did go back there. Everyone you'll see will say hi to you. That's not everywhere in France of course. But some things are. Like there's little murders in France that everytime it happens, it becomes a national story. We only got like 2 serial killers in our country history, 1 school schooting (with a huntingle rifle), cuz we have no guns. Free healthcare, etc etc. But most of the time, americans have too much comfort to actually think about changing country.

i think there are at least some live-action adaptations that are decent, even if they are inferior versions. i haven't watched it all yet, but i think the One Piece live action is acceptable. it's a little bit weird to watch, but i wouldn't say it seems bad per say, just kinda odd and different. i also think most Rurouni Kenshin live actions are relatively okay, with maybe a flaw or two. i also was recently told there is a good remake of the Parasyte anime in live action, but i have yet to check it out, so idk... as for the Twitch revenue split, i think it's too harsh. the Bits seem reasonable in how they have it setup, but 50/50 for Subscriptions seems like total extortion. like i struggle to believe that the maintenance and support team of Twitch requires so much income, they seem like greedy feudal lords. i could maybe understand a 70/30 split, that would be less egregious, but a 50/50 seems like a super poopy deal. Cosmo and Wanda? the Fairly Odd Parents are your dog's names? hehehe, that is cute... btw, what's wrong with people in low-income housing? most people in that kind of housing are either disabled or elderly :(

They created a dedicated audience with old content and then proceeded to kill that audience with lazy content like a podcast. It's a failed attempt at something new or a successful attempt at making sure this channel is dead. Either way go take a Xanax and chillax, bionic and elvis don't know or care you exist.
