Great list! Enjoyed seeing all of those beautiful fish and tanks. I've kept a few fish on this list: Discus, Angels, an Oscar, and Severum. I also had a few different Lake Tanganyika species. I think one of my favorite cichlids is the small but colorful Bolivian Ram.

Jacks are my all time #1 cichlid of all time. I had a super aggressive 10” male I had to keep solo, but have had a super chill female several years later. Either way their coloration is top notch. Great list guys! Keep up the great content

My dad had a Jack Dempsey from a friend. It still is one of my favorite-looking fish, glad to see it made the top spot :)

Love the channel. About 28 years ago, I had a 32 tank setup in my basement. They ranged from 10 to 150 gallon. Had both African and S. American ciichlids. A few of my favorites I had were a red finned pike, jack dempsey, and some fresh water barracuda. But my favorite fish was the Venustus. It is so beautiful. I also enjoyed owning different pleccos and catfish to.

Great list Guys! My thoughts are all about which one of the brother's is getting that wolf fish! I like the black nasty and the yellow jacket. But really all of them are amazing and the tanks so nice. Super work by all three. Peace.

Have never cared for angelfish or discus. Nice fish on that list. But I'd take a jewel or firemouth over some of those.

The videos are coming out fast and furious lately! I was surprised to see where the EBA landed on the list, thinking you would have had it higher. But then seeing what you had above it...makes sense. They all can't be in the top 5.

Hi there cichlidbros, I have a question if I should buy an Oscar for my aquarium. I have a 150 and only have 2 silver dollar and a couple of tigerbarbs. I really want an Oscar but am wondering if it will get way too big for the 150.

I got rid of my electric blue acara. It killed my pleco, my threadfin Acara and like 2 other fish. They were all the same size.

my female red zebra is getting the **** beat out of her by my male (i think) kenyi , there my only 2 fish i am trying time out and added more rocks n caves but this is not working, i had them for 5 weeks now i suppose i have only 1 option , if anybody has a better option i can take then HELP! i dont wanna have to dispatch this kenyi!
