Serious accumulation! Ha - that's a light dusting!! What was the temp? I'm not sure packing cubes are supposed to give more space - just keep you very organized! I swear by them, and use them to categorize my clothes (or sometimes to pack in outfits).

It used to snow here in Colorado regularly in September but it hasn’t for many years. You were here for our first September weather in many years! I hope you enjoyed it! We had a 60 degree weather drop down in Denver while you were up in Bachelor Gulch. We get crazy weather sometimes and you got to see it all. Glad you had safe travels.

The packing cubes can help if you are doing a long trip where you stop everyday or so and have to share a suitcase.

This time I had to take notes during the video, I have now adopted Colorado as my home, arrived 1981 - my daughter is a native! I so enjoyed you enjoying an early snow here in CO. BTW, I was born in Highland Park, IL. Wet snow makes the best snow balls - SNOWBALL FIGHT! Marnie - LMAO “you throw like a girl” I’m dying! OMG you were only 2 hours from ME! Lululemon?? Try Fabletics. Packing . . . I use the cubes because it makes it easier to unpack in drawers - the cubes section the hotel drawers and my items never really touch the drawer. I am glad you had such a great time in COLORADO.

Enjoyed this so much! I've been to Colorado several times and usually can't stop talking about it when I come back. Always blown away by the mountains and picturesque scenery. Even went to a concert at Red Rocks. The "hotel dogs" so cute. Looked like you planned a great trip.

It's currently 87 degrees where I live as I watch this. Jealous that you can eat at restaurants. As a celiac, I never eat out unless the restaurant is 100% gf. Every single time I have tried to eat from a restaurant, I have gotten very ill. My doctor finally told me that I needed to be extremely strict and stop eating out because I was having some pretty serious health complications from gluten cross contamination. It makes vacationing a bit more challenging. Plus, the social tension it causes if you are with other people. It's amazing how offended some can get if you don't eat at restaurants. You are inspiring me to take a mini vacation with just my husband for our anniversary next month.

This made me miss Colorado. We lived in Fort Collins and Longmont for 7 years. 24 years ago yesterday (the 26th) my twins were born in a snow storm in Colorado. We made it to the hospital just fine. The next day it was back to 90 degrees. We loved it there and now we’re in WA state on the dry eastern side which is also nice. Glad you enjoyed your trip!

We also had summer this week in the form of high 80s in the lower elevations-you might’ve hit it on your way back; I’m not that far in the video yet though. I like how you divided your toiletries into day & night-good idea. Loved the antler used to serve the pretzel-ha! You mentioned dryness-It’s so dry here, we need lip treatments all year.

I live in a south suburb of Denver and we thought that freak snow storm was weird too. Looks like we got heavier snow in town too! It was 100 that weekend and on Labor Day I was at the pool in a bikini and it snowed the next day. It has never snowed this early! I love The Ritz at BC for Christmas. Went last year.

For the life of me, I could never use a hotel tub unless I scrub and disinfect the heck out of it which for the most part I never do so I just don't use it. I work in hotels for many years so...there's that;)

I have never been to Colorado, but it reminds me of Tahoe, CA a lot with the tall pine trees, mountains and snow. Vail looks really pretty and quaint.
