One of my favorite things about this channel is the fact that you show the whole process that goes into building these cars up. Having the balls to throw up those pulls where the car sounds absolutely horrible where I cringed at it, then working through it was cool to see. The audio from George's phone was also kind of funny, almost sounded like censorship, add your own words in and get a good laugh.

Put the scramble button on the overdrive on off button on the shifter. It's a momentary button. That would be perfect.

@@andrewmichael7889 those are a normally open momentary switch. Each press, provides a ground signal to the PCM. They don't lock on or off. So they would work perfect for a scramble button. @@donaldsonjeoboham8759 my expertise lies in GM wiring and controls. Regardless it's a momentary on off button that would work perfectly for a scramble. But off topic, LT swapping a marauder? As in direct injection LT series engine? If so, that's badass.

@@thatgreenrcsb Yeah, If I were them and wanted to make this as cleasn as possible, I would use either the curise control on and off button or the ac on and off botton as the scramble, those are also momentary switches. And yup, 5.3L Di LT with a 6l90 behind it.

I mean I'm pretty sure they said the guy they got it form bad our forged internals so I mean I don't see why 1000hp would be a problem it's not like its a stock motor like a lot of people do with LS's
@madmod
@madmod 3 жыл бұрын
@@james10739 Its one thing to be a dyno queen and lay down 1,XXX+ unusable horsepowers on a dyno and another to have a reliable car with over 600ft/lbs of torque *to the tire* that lives longer than a couple passes. Making an engine reliable at 1,000hp is no simple task, be it modular or ls and so much more involved than just forged internals. The only 4 digit stock bottom end ls motors ive ever seen stay together have a plethora of cash in the top end, cam and timing components, and induction to make those spectacular power numbers at lower boost (improve power handling). They are still ticking time bombs often running traction limited times on track that are less than impressive. Not saying you cant get 1,000+ out of a 2v combo because quite a few people have, you'd just be beating a dead horse doing so. This is plenty of power to be competitive in the racing they are doing. Fwiw, this is in an auto crown vic which usually dyno low 200s stock. Hes making 3 times the stock power output still running through that same auto. That trans eats up close to 50fwhp in stone stock trim. In this combo, its likely eating up more than 100ft/lbs off the flywheel. With that considered, they are already kinda close to where that combo wants to limit breathing and id rather see the car be usable at this high power level rather than get turned up to plaid and start making windows and attacking bystanders with rods.

Hey Jeremy, the same as i told Kevin from KSR: 19:00 if you have trouble increasing the volume of your voice, try a „compressor“. It is a Audiofilter that brings all frequencies to around the same level. It can increase the volume of things you don’t want to hear, so it is not the answer to everything. But I can help in this situation or for example, if you’re talking while a loud car is running. Pretty much every program has a compressor filter built in, try it. For just audiofiles you can use a freeware called audacity. Greetings from Germany 😊👍

To make it easier on you to run the dyno and better analyzing data from inside the car you are tunning. Remote into the dyno computer from the laptop you are using inside the car and use the keyboard that is already in your lap. You can switch back and forth between screens and see the last run on the computer screen in your lap instead of trying to see it on the tv on the wall from inside the car. I have done this personally. It makes seeing the dyno data so much easier and not squinting so much and trying to navigate the dyno computer from a keyboard with a touchpad mouse. Try it. Huge time saver.
