The Crown Vics are a fun play thing if you get a deal on a pursuit package. But factory they don't have a ton of power, but they certainly seem to like cheap easy mods. I think they make about 250 stock but 500 with some cheap stuff is pretty impressive. I'm loving the 06 Charger RT hemi with 90k my lil sister sold me cheap recently so there are all kinds of options for older go fasts to play with and mod.

You guys know you've made all these mid 2000 Crown Vic and Caprice retired Police cars sooo desirable don't you. Used to be we'd almost never see one on the road,, since you guys started making them FAST we see many, many more on the road. There's no mistaking them when we see 'em. Steel wheels, doors times 4, usually a spot light, plugged antenna holes galore, etc. etc. The cars come from the factory with beefed up performance suspension, brakes, engines and can be bought at City, County and State auctions for a really good number. Good on ya!!

You'll should look at getting a boost gauge with a max pressure indicator. They aren't very expensive and you won't have to video it or have someone watch everytime. Love the content, got my wheels turning about getting myself a crown vic.

Log your exhaust backpressure to see if the dead spot is the waste gate opening up. It may be getting stuck open or not opening when it should be.

Ive been waiting for this. Stall and jmod is the biggest mod for these cars, even better then regearing. Just make sure and run stock trans pressure because your opening up those passages in the plate for improved volume so even with stock trans fluid pressure, its moving more fluid where it needs. Focus on shift schedule tuning.

@@andywagoner4869 The jmod is the removal of springs that slow the reverse, 1-2, and 2-3 upshifts, along with drilling of the valve body plate to improve fluid flow to the places it needs. With this, you can improve the shift firmness tremendously as well as the speed of the shift. The time spent shifting the gear on a stock trans is made for comfort at the cost of building a ton of heat in the trans and poor performance for accelerating. The jmods often produce better results than "shift kits" and aftermarket valvebodies with the exception of a few expensive pieces. For the cost, a jmod and shift schedule tuning is the best bang for the buck.

Sometimes i want to move to the US just for access to parts places, I wanted a replacement torque converter for my vehicle went to parts supplier that used to have them on self and got told i had to go-to an AUTO specialist which there is only 4 in country and only two do repairs so that doesn't solve the problem (ended up buying a whole trans ex japan for less than cost of a basic repair) .... If only i had money and shipping wasn't so expensive right now

Jeremy, if you decide to build the 2v or swap it, use a 4.6 4v teksid it holds the stock block record at 5.88 in the 1/4. If you want some tips, contact Jordan at Modular Head Shop. He is one of the best and, one of the most knowledgeable guy's when it comes to mod motors. He is a very nice and humble guy.

Have you every thought of twincharging one of the fleet cars/project cars? I think that would be awesome. Supercharger gets that low end boost and power for the 60 foot, and turbo(s) for that top end power for the fastest trap speed/time. Maybe I'm the only one who wants to see that 😅😂

I wonder if that's normal and a good or a bad thing specifically when it shuts off when you hit the gas really hard. Because I own a 2011 police interceptor she's beautiful although when I hit the gas pretty hard, the car almost shuts off then goes super fast. I'm thinking something is wrong but maybe I'm wrong.
