Looks good 👍 , that little pipe you’re calling a water drain though is the filtered air supply to your air suspension compressor so you’ll probably need to extend that above water level & put a filter on it if you want the air compressor to survive 👍👍👍

Use conformal coating for water protecting circuit boards to spray over all of the sensor plugs etc , it’s amazing stuff .

I watch a lot it 4x4 videos. Normally snorkels are made of plastic, but questions I have are. How do you stop rain coming back down to the air filter? Normally a snorkel has the entrance to it as a forward facing right angle. What happens to water that now drops into the inner wing?

I think the drain pipe you mention that was connected to the previous air box may be for suspension air compressor. I'm not sure the set up on yours, but that's what it's for on Audi Q7 - I takes filtered air from the air box when raising suspension.

I'd recommend against it unless you consistently run in dry dusty conditions... the ram tops are great at getting hooked up on tree's and slurping down bugs ect to plaster your air filter.. most owners around here end up turning them backwards. Claimed impact on power is big, and while thats extremely hard to measure (as your not moving on a dyno), the actual intake pressure/temperature is dead easy to observe while driving, and doesn't look any different with ram, without ram, or even with backwards ram, so my bet is any change in power (or egt, economy ect ect) is less than your normal day to day variance, rather than something you'd feel/see just using it.

@@DarksideDevelopmentsAlso, have you considered taking the sway bars out? I took mine out last weekend and it makes a big difference off-road, and articulation. Haven't noticed too much change on the road or highway yet, it does lean a slight bit more on sharper corners but nothing drastic. Don't feel bumps as much anymore either. It Might not make as big of a difference with your car though as you have air suspension and mine is steel spring.

The water injection level while driving is likely a non-issue, but I would worry about what the slow accumulation of water gets up to if parked outside a few days without something more on the tops.
