In Auckland I'd really recommend taking the ferry over to Waihiki (wine island) and doing a tour of the vineyards there, particularly Wild on Waihiki. Getting the ferry over to Davenport and having a wander along the shore is also a lovely thing to do for great views of the Auckland skyline. Also - get yourself a lamb roast dinner while you're out there, will be the best you've ever tasted. Have an amazing time. xx

I don’t do well in the heat either and I can’t recommend a cooling electric neck fan enough. It blows cold air up towards your head and down your back. Mine fits in my purse. You won’t be so miserable so you can really enjoy every port. Congrats. So excited for you. ❤😊

If you do venture into the City in Hong Kong (very easy from Disney!) we have Marks and Spencer and lots of shops stock Waitrose, Tesco etc products if you’re missing any home comforts by that part of the trip! The MTR is really easy to navigate but if you take a taxi you will need cash! You can Uber but it’s not technically legal. I haven’t been to HK Disney for a couple of years but it’s super cute - can’t wait to see what you think of it! I have lived here for four years and can only say a couple of words in Cantonese (so difficult to learn) and manage to get by easily and you won’t have a problem in Disney at all. Mystic Manor in HK Disney is my fave Disney ride, I hope you love it!

I went to Hk Disneyland in 2019 and i have to say DO NOT MISS Mystic Manor! Its one of my favourite rides in ALL the parks! Its such a great story! You’re gonna have an amazing time!

I lived in Auckland for a year so I have a few recommendations for you :) I would definitely take a trip out to Waiheke Island, you can get the ferry from Auckland CBD which takes you straight there where there are beautiful beaches, vineyards and wineries - we hired bikes and did a gentle tour which was really lovely! I'd also recommend taking the TMK bus to Kohimarama or St Heliers for beautiful beaches around 15/20mins away from the CBD - Kohi is a really cool town with lots of coffee and fro-yo shops, restaurants/bars on the beach. Ponsonby is also a really lovely town, you can walk there within 30mins from the city past the Sky Tower, lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and even a 'dining club' called Ponsonby Central. Within the Sky Tower itself (well worth a visit) there is a restaurant called orbit 360 - incredible food and a stunning restaurant which has a revolving floor (very slow, you can't feel it) and gives a 360 view of Auckland as you eat :) Have the best time - I'm so excited for you both xx

Live in Auckland- I agree with the suggestions... Auckland Museum is really good for NZ history and learning about the things that make us the bit special... Our Zoo (wouldn't normally recommend) is also Fab and big on protection as opposed to entertainment... Love Waitomo

Another fellow kiwi here, I don't live in Auckland but have visited a few times. Totally support all these suggestions- especially Waiheke, be nice to get on the water for a 'mini-cruise' before the real cruise starts, side note there is also zip lining on Waiheke. There's some good shops also for mooching in the areas suggested and I would say venture out of the central city for sure. So excited for you too, what a dream come true!! Hubby and I recently came from NZ to get married in Italy where my grandma is from. It was an absolute fairytale and I loved every second. So very excited for you and also for is viewers who get to share the excitement with you 😊. And in advance nau mai haere mai - (welcome to New Zealand)!!!!

Woops also forgot to say I've done the flight path you're taking with Emirates twice. Not gonna lie that 16-17 hour flight is a mind-game. Somehow overall it is actually doesn't feel that much longer than a 12 hour flight though. You pretty much need to add 1-2 extra 'activities' to however you manage a long haul usually. E.g for me I added one extra movie, a few extra laps of the plane, a slightly longer nap and poof we arrived. Emirates is of course a fabulous airline and the baggage weight limits are generous!! 😂

Wow! It’s going to be MEGA… So excited for you and to be honest jealous too. We’ve always wanted to go to Australia and New Zealand ….plus we love cruising too… Brilliant video full of great things to come….. I would just say…be careful in certain places especially Egypt… Arcadia isn’t a ship we liked …but I’m sure for you guys it’s just a venue and base for all your amazing adventures. One of the best things about any cruise is spending the quality time with your husband ❤️🥂 and loved ones….a cruise is just perfect for that. Ooooh such a good point about the heat. I live in NZ and I’m sure there is a scientific explanation but it’s so much easier to get sunburnt here. I’m quite pale too and I could be outside in Europe fine but outside here for 30 minutes and get burnt. It’s a crazy difference so definitely bring the sunscreen!! So excited to follow along your adventure.

I'm so excited to see the videos from this trip when you get them up! (No pressure on the timing, make sure you have time to enjoy yourself and relax!) New Zealand is my favourite country I've ever visited and Hobbiton and the glow worm caves were both amazing experiences but I've not been to many of the other places you're visiting so seeing what you get up to will be great fun! In Auckland the War Memorial museum was really interesting - nothing to do with war, it's similar to the natural history museum and had Maori history, an earthquake exhibit and other things like that. I spent the entire day in there (but I'm a massive nerd 😂). Also Giapo ice cream which is near auckland harbour was delicious and a very different ice cream experience (have a look at their website to see some of the amazing creations)

These wedding videos are so much fun! (fellow 2024 bride here 😍😍😍) Disneyland was definitely my highlight of Hong Kong, whilst there are other things to do in the city, I can definitely corroborate that it should be your priority 😂Also the valley of the Kings was amazing!!! (super hot down there though, even in the middle of Winter). Also (also 😅) when you're here in Sydney, the weather will definitely be at what's usually my favourite (less humidity and less random storms). And just massive props to you for still working on your honeymoon! I can't wait to see all your adventures. Congrats :))

OH and if you have the chance in Singapore, you MUST do the night safari. The animals are SO active and it feels a lot like the Animal Kingdom Safari, however, you get the chance to also walk the Zoo as well.

Auckland is a great place, I worked at Fullers Ferries for many years, they can take you to Waiheke and Rangitoto Islands which are both great places to visit. I can’t wait to join you on your amazing adventure ❤ I mentioned to my mum your plans and her and my dad did round the world cruise in 2018/2019 so I asked any tips and she suggested having something to dry your clothes on in your room. Although there was a launderette on board where they washed their clothes she said there was some items better to air dry, but also to reduce cost of drying everything. There was a fold up dryer thing she used that packed down well in her luggage- I can find out more details if you need?

We used to live in Auckland, some recs for you 😊 if you want to get some good views of the skyline head over on the ferry or taxi to Devonport. They have loads of good places to eat and things to see, it’s a nice relaxing day for recovering from jet lag. Also just a ferry ride away from the CBD is Waiheke Island, loads of vineyards and stunning scenery. Make sure you’re prepared for the heat in NZ too, lots of sunscreen and cover ups. Enjoy! Hi Brogan, sounds like an amazing trip! I have lived my whole life in Auckland and agree with all the wonderful suggestions of places people have mentioned. Just want to warn you that our public transport isn't wonderful but if your hotel s in the CBD you might be okay. Grab yourselves an "Auckland Transport Hop Card" from a corner store to use on buses, trains and ferrys as it is a pain to pay for individual trips with cash. Hi Brogan from Australia!! On our last NZ trip we had the most incredible ice cream from a place called Giapo in the CBD in Auckland! Definitely shouldn’t be missed. Sydney cruise terminal is so central however so much so it might be overwhelming! Definitely worthwhile having a plan otherwise it’s easy to waste a day wandering around aimlessly. How absolutely exciting for you both.... Cant wait to see what you get up to. If you get stuck in Auckland, i live 1.5 hours south and could help you if i can. I think you could easily find enough to do just around Auckland and just beyond during that time but if you feel inclined and the weather is good, a car hire and making the trip to Hobbiton at Matamata is well worth it. Or down the other side and about the same time is the kiwi house and then onto the glow worm caves.

Auckland gal here 😊 we have so many beautiful beaches close to the city centre so definitely go out and explore those! Head to the North Shore for lots of beaches, including Takapuna where there are cafes and shops close. If you’re after more shopping, go to the Westfield New Market and there’s also lots of great food options on the roof top. If you love wine and good food, spend a day on Waiheke Island (also would make for an amazing vlog!). Stunning wineries and restaurants, there’s a hop on hop off bus and a lovely ferry ride. Auckland is a big city and there’s so much more to do so happy to provide more suggestions too - you’re going to have the best time! X

well Brogan, I'm so excited to get this trip started! LOL it's ridiculous, it's like I'm going with you and that would be, well just weird. I've never even been on a cruise! I'm going to be missing Bonnie along with you both, I know not my pup, never met her but I feel your feelings with this even though like you said your Mom will be wonderful with her. Girl, I'm just so excited! Thank god your so organized, some of the things you listed off I would never have thought about taking care of before leaving. It's gonna be great, I just know it. I would definitely recommend going up the sky tower in Auckland and also when we went to Singapore we found it to be quite expensive for things like meals and drinks and what not, have a great time :)

In Sydney I’d recommend a harbour cruise and going up the Sydney tower possibly for a meal. Half day city tour in Singapore, Singapore Sling at Raffles and Night Safari is unique

Some Auckland recommendations (my favs) - Auckland Domain (lovely huge park in the CBD), Kauri Glen park, walk from Milford Beach to Takapuna Beach. I used to live in Tauranga, so if you have time to do anything there and would like some recommendations let me know 😊

In summer in Australia Must do for fair skin (that's me too but I am Australian) : Cover up but light fabrics, Hat, sunscreen everywhere (feet, legs, arm hand, ears face nose. Pretty much what ever is visible), if you have a cooling towel for your neck Bring that. They are great for cooling body temp with water. Drink a lot of water and if you sweat drink something with electrolytes. Depends on what you days are like try and have lunch/ break undercover attractions at peak heat of the day (12-2pm).
