As far as I am concerned, Thor is a hero. And I completely agree with you that he needs a partner(s). Not only so he can adequately protect the property and the other animals, but also so he is protected, too. And I am so glad you have kept his and the other two dogs' shots up-to-date. Years ago, we had a racoon in our front yard during the day. We called Animal Control, and we were told that sometimes racoons do that when they have rabies or some other disease.

Hey neighbor, it’s cold over here too. But I am glad we didn’t get the snow. We had a raccoon walking around our neighborhood in the daylight. He was in my backyard and climbed over my fence. My brother trapped him because he eats them. Great job completing the honey do list. By the way, I watched the entire video. I always watch your videos to the end. Egypt was so cute at the age of 3. Good for you and Thor! I have a Great Pyrenees too. I live in rural AZ and we have coyotes and even Mt. Lions here. My boy, recently chased off a pack of coyotes a couple nights ago. We don't have livestock yet and my GP is 2 years old, so they didn't come onto our place, but were at my neighbors house. My GP is 110 lbs and fearless, refuses to come inside at night and I hear him all around the house keeping predators or small critters away. No more skunks under the house - LOL! He actually got in a scuffle with a roaming German Shepard and would have killed him if someone hadn't come by to get it. I love my dog. He is sweet and tough and I want to breed him. Our vet loves him, too. If I can find a female GP, I'll let you know and maybe you can get one of the puppies. 💝

What an awesome video!!! Nico you had me laughing all through there!!! I am a nerd too, I watch all the way to the end because there are beautiful moments all the way to the end! Livestock guardian dogs are the best! We plan to get another one but don't even have chickens yet so no rush. I think my husband and I are both hoarders, when I started going through rooms to clear stuff out I started a pile that is growing by the day. I need to know what company you all used to come and get your stuff! Not sure if they will come up this far north but maybe they will have some referrals. Thor knows that those raccoons do not belong on “his” farm! Raccoons can cause a lot of damage if they get into your chicken houses! So proud of Thor! Coyotes can be devastating to a farm as they will go after young goats, dogs, chickens, even calves! You may have to resort to traps along your fence lines! ✝️ God keep all your family and animals safe! ❤❤❤❤

Just found your channel. I love this !!!!!! Yes when you have livestock you need to protect them. I had shed in FFA and had a Great Pyrenees. My family raises cattle now and we run Turkish Kangals we have quite a heavy predator load in our area.

I’m divorced, so I write my own honey-do list. I’m embarrassed that I have a couple of lightbulbs to change out, too. I’m not telling how long they have been on my list for me to do! I’m not an OG, but I’ve been here since you were in the 12K subscribers. I watch all the way through! I’m proud of Thor doing his job and am thankful that you have him. Raccoons love to get into your animal feed and your chicken coops! If he wasn’t out there, they’d find a way to get those chickens. The raccoon carcasses would not have bothered me, but KZbin would demonetize the video for the smallest bit of blood. For that reason, take care. Just came across your channel and that beautiful baby and that man singing won me over right away! I subscribed. We have chickens , goats and ducks on 10 acres with a pond but we are in Northern Michigan and it’s been 8 below zero here! We busted out the electric blanket. We are getting Highland cattle in the next year and we can’t wait. We have well water and a wood burning stove , my husband hunts for a lot of our meat so we want to become as self sufficient as possible btw have you all thought about getting your feed from your local Amish community? We get our chicken, duck and goat feed from them for half the price and they don’t have the fillers in it that tractor supply does. Hey Necco & Natalie I do watch your videos don’t always comment because I’m listening while doing everything around my homestead I must say guys you are super powered people to have a homestead & all the animals and kids and a house everything there looks amazing I give you guys 👏🏻 for all you do it’s alot of work and my dad always used to say repurpose things around the house like with the hoses since hoses are very expensive but what isn’t ❤

Just came across your video ( new subscriber ) and yes yotes are cunning hunters. I’m in AZ. 🌞🌵in small town and at nite having my Cigar you can hear the yotes communicating. When I still had my 60 lbs yellow lad/cur I’d be outside with my pew-pew, when them yotes were hungry and breeding season they can be troublesome !
