There is something very appealing about your videos. Of course the chateau is lovely as are the grounds, but there are many lovely chateau around France. I think it comes down to your style. How you put your videos together, insert very fitting music in just the right spots, the drone shots, and the banter between you two. Just right. Everything. In Brooklyn NY we had minimal dirt and lots of cement. The slugs always found their way to the minimal dirt. We put down a plate filled with beer. The slugs climbed in, drank the beer and could not find their way out thus they drowned. It worked for us and our veggies won many blue ribbons.

OMG, you guys must be so incredibly stressed out by the feral cats/strays simply because you wish to help them BUT, it doesn't always work out as easy as you initially hope - c'est la vie! I watch only a very few Chateau YTubers these days (for obvious reasons) simply because you guys work the absolute hardest. Just a tip, divide all your perennials each autumn (plants for free) to help cut down on weeding, Good luck to you both. Just saying, but the attack on your strawberries could also be from local birds too not just slugs. I had to ditch all my v.v. expensive pristine copper based pots that I had owned for 40 years as weren't compatible with my new home's induction hob = totally gutted. Absolutely love your channel. x

Children and animals need special love and thank you both for all the love you give. Our beautiful wild, purple irises are now saying farewell till next year. The lilies will take over. In Paris in the summer of 1970, in a restaurant near diplomats' row, I paid $65.00 for lunch for two. Fifty-four years ago, it was a revelation about Paris restaurants, and I still remember.
