The best tip that I’ve ever used in making hard boiled eggs is about 3 minutes into boiling them crack all of the shells slightly with the handle end of a butter knife and continue cooking. If any egg seeps out of the crack, you crack them a little too early adjust your time you can peel them with one hand after they’re cooked.

If you have a instapot do the 5-5-5 method. 5 min on high pressure, 5 min natural release, 5 minutes ice water. Peel the easiest ever! Perfect everytime. You'll never go back to boiling them. Love Frank's hot sauce pickled eggs! Put the same brine over those cocktail Frank's or smokie links.....yummy

put a little vinegar in the water when you cook eggs, that way if an egg cracks during cooking the white stays near the shell so it cooks to seal the white in, it makes the first bit act like a plug.

You have to go back to the Stivers and watch their new video on cooking eggs in the Instant Pot...it is pretty cute. I'll definitely get hubby to watch this video to see if he would like a batch of eggs done this way. He is the one who likes pickled eggs and I haven't found a brine recipe yet that he likes. We've mostly just been dropping eggs in the leftover brine from Mazzetti's Hot Pepper Rings. They come out great but I'd really rather make my own brine. Looking forward to your tasting video. Thank you for sharing your process!

I've found that if you dump some baking soda in the water with the eggs while they are cooling it helps soften the shells and makes it way easier to peel. Also, the baking soda neutralizes the sulfer smell. It's a win win. Great video. I like the dried jalapeños idea. Definitely going to incorporate that in my next jar.

I made these a few weeks ago and finally tried them. They are sooo good! The non-spicy malt vinegar ones I made however are not 🥴

Is it necessary to boil your brine? Was wondering if you could just through it all in your mason jar after you mix it up. Great vid. Thanx!

Steam fresh eggs 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, put in ice water. Shells will never stick to your fresh eggs ever again.

By adding the HOT brine,... aren't you cooking the eggs more, drying them out?

What does a pickled egg taste like? Does it take like a pickle or a hard boiled egg with whatever you added to the brine? Is it rubbery???? 🥚🤷♀️🙋🏻♀️❤️

I have used the liquid left over from my pickled asparagus or even from jarred pickles. I leave them in that liquid for a few months and the white is more firm but not rubbery like a store bought HB(hard boiled) egg. I do not like a rubbery egg. I like my pickled eggs. Just make sure you like the flavor of the juice you are pickling the HB egg in.

Love the colors of the eggs. Are shells softer or harder than store brought?
