According to the media, EVERY White is racist, and EVERY Black person is a poor, ignorant, oppressed, downtrodden individual, who needs the Government (read "Democratic Party), to save them from themselves. Perhaps the media is wrong, and every White doesn't hate Blacks, and every Black person is not..., well, you get the idea.

These friendships were common in the south growing up. I remember at 5 an old man used to bring momma buttermilk every Wednesday and momma made us drink it. I hated it and hated the man for bringing it! I hated that man and didn't know he was black til I was 38! I didn't hate the man cos he was black, it was all about the buttermilk! I learned a few years ago he was murdered in the 60s. I really felt bad about hating him. People are people but to this day, I hate buttermilk! I'm 65 now, but he was still a part of my life, and I still remember him.
