If we could just bring down our walls and treat each other with respect the world would be a better place. There is so much the young people can learn from their elders. Give life a chance. We all can make a difference.

Indy Custom Made, look and observe what’s on the news everyday or tv shows. Racism is constantly pounded into our minds and hearts because that’s what the government uses as a tool to divide us. Some people know better but some doesn’t. We are not born racist... it is taught
@canavyvet5 жыл бұрын
@@dewaynemarler2527 That's the truth. It's disgusting. Hopefully, we get back to some real values, where they no longer use that tool, of making people think they need to rely on the government to get where they need to be. Every American can have whatever they want, if they are willing to work hard for it. The handouts given by the government to those that ARE capable of working, have caused this. The current President has us moving in a positive direction moving forward. More jobs for EVERYONE. Racism is vile and disgusting, and has no place in our world. We as individuals can change that! Love thy neighbor.
@robertsilvis8154 жыл бұрын
@@dewaynemarler2527 It's not just the Government, it's the Media as well, since "sensational" stories of racism, blown up to extremes, raises ratings,which then sells ads. According to the media, EVERY White is racist, and EVERY Black person is a poor, ignorant, oppressed, downtrodden individual, who needs the Government (read "Democratic Party), to save them from themselves. Perhaps the media is wrong, and every White doesn't hate Blacks, and every Black person is not..., well, you get the idea.

These friendships were common in the south growing up. I remember at 5 an old man used to bring momma buttermilk every Wednesday and momma made us drink it. I hated it and hated the man for bringing it! I hated that man and didn't know he was black til I was 38! I didn't hate the man cos he was black, it was all about the buttermilk! I learned a few years ago he was murdered in the 60s. I really felt bad about hating him. People are people but to this day, I hate buttermilk! I'm 65 now, but he was still a part of my life, and I still remember him.
