We got out of there almost 3 yrs ago & moved to Texas!! I too say God Bless Texas!! Be aware though, the evil of the Left is trying to infiltrate this state!! Let me also acknowledge the governors & patriots of the Great States of Florida & South Dakota & Arizona for the audit!!!

@zedzed headhead Astounding that you believe a man, with obvious dementia, got more votes than Obama? Are you delirious. Here is a clue that there are more common sense people of both Parties, that are disgusted by the lies. CNN and main stream media are tanking dramatically. Hollywood is losing money. I am an Independent and voted for Obama the first time. There are more examples, but since you appear to have a case of cognitive dissonance, enough said. Our chats are over. Fini, done.

@zedzed headhead the election audit in arizona being carried out now is showing major issues like many americans have been saying happened in the 2020 election. Duplicate ballots with no corresponding original, 10-20% of ballots missing from batches counted, aka 200 was counted in the election but the batch has only 160; also the maricopa county refuse to give access to routers which would show the dominon voting machines were connected to the internet. Once they get them and they show they were connected, then anyone around the world can hack in and change votes no problem, 0 security. The 2020 election was a massive fraud, I would be surprised if Biden got any more than 30 million real votes. All the evidence is being covered up by the mainstream media and big tech as much as they possibly can, they are complicit in overthrowing Trump, the real president.

After 9/11 is when I first heard the song and it made me cry then and still does today. But you have to understand what it represents for it to affect you. So many are lost to the true meaning of USA and you can not explain it to them, they are unreachable. I do not even try -- it is a waste of time and energy. This song will go down in annals of all the patriotic songs of the USA -- and there are a lot of them if you include all the patriot songs of Texas.

My Scottish brother, the original release of this song by Lee Greenwood has always been a favorite of mine and I have wanted to learn it to sing it myself at our Independence Day Celebrations. This version, as you have said, is so well done and while still featuring Lee Greenwood as the main vocalist, is enhanced by the a cappella group, Home Free, and members of the U.S. armed forces. As an American, with predominantly English and French ancestry, I am a descendant from a great American family that produced notable patriots such as Samuel Adams and two U.S. Presidents, John Adams and his son, John Quincey Adams. I live in Alaska, and having served in the armed forces myself, have always had a great sense of patriotism and seek to preserve those freedoms that my ancestors fought to establish.

Lee Greenwood first wrote this as a patriotic song and released in the 1980's. First played and heard at the RNC (Republican National Convention) for President Ronald Reagan. ..It wasn't a huge hit but released again during the Gulf war as way to help boost morale for our armed forces so far away from home. To let them know we back in the states support them....and then after 9/11 it truly hit a signature song and dies to this day. We love our country, we know what our troops are going through, we know what they and those before them are sacrifices for...regardless of what some are trying to push right now, there are millions of Americans standing strong and love our country. Unfortunately there are those who don't understand what they have...God Bless the U.S.A. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽

We may fight amongst ourselves, but we also defend and protect each other from outsiders. We are Americans first and anything else is secondary. this cover was made on the urging of Homefree to celebrate the 20th universe of Lee's original release and to celebrate the 4th of July (american independence day from Britain and national holiday of parasitism). they asked lee and he was honored, it was the Base Tim who said they should get the USAF band on. you should continue to react to all groups involved.

Lee Greenwood (first singer) sounded great for 75! He wrote and sang the song originally. Home Free is an “a cappella” group (in plain clothes) that backed him up. Their bass, Tim Foust, is amazing. And their beatboxer (no instruments) did the drum sounds and a jet flyover sound at the end! The Air Force Singing Sergeants were great. All had great voices. It’s a great rendition. Great reaction Don!

Great reaction! I'm retired U.S. Air Force, and the military singers were all from the Air Force, along with Lee and HF. Makes me very proud of the AF AND the country to hear this! Lot's of patriotism associate with this song. When I was still in, and stationed in the P.I., years ago, Lee came there and sang this song. TONS of screaming and yelling (in a good way!).

And no, there are no instruments. We Home Fries will be waiting for you at the bottom of the rabbit hole. We'll save you a spot.

The singers who weren't in camo are members of the group Home Free, an absolutely wonderful a capella group. The bass that you enjoyed so much is a member of that group. My husband had the great honor of attending a private concert given by Lee at a political fundraiser. Hubby had a front row seat beside Mrs. Greenwood during the concert. There are a lot of us who feel that THIS song should be our national anthem.

This is our honorary anthem. Once on a school trip in the 80's the escorts were trying to get us teenagers settled down on the school bus as there was a lot of ruckus and shenanigans going on. They started a school cheer and that just made things worse. Then they started singing this song and within moments every voice was joined in and singing, everyone settled down and we had a pleasant trip. We all love this song.
