Some people in these comments are annoying me a bit. People are calling her a Karen, or saying she is a nerd or teachers pet, or “bet she is fun at parties” basically saying the same stereotypical things because she is more of a nerdy type of student. Clearly a lot of people in these comments are teenagers and going through that stage of what is “cool” and what isn’t. Just because she doesn’t fit that stereotypical look of being “cool” ,people are mocking her for it. The same people who are mocking her,are most probably the same people who go around saying those motivational generic things like “be yourself, be different.” 🤦🏼♀️ I’m in my 20s and from what I can see from this video,is she is very motivated, focused, driven, determined, ambitious and career minded type of girl. Is that so wrong? At least she will be going far in life. You guys are clearly kids and still seem to have an immature outlook. You probably like the kids that mess around because you think that’s “cool.” I really admire how respectful and outspoken she is. She likes to push herself and is very go-getting and hard driven. It’s good to be like that. And constantly wanting to do better and achieve better. Always strive to keep moving up the ladder. She has a good focused head on her. These are the type of people that do well in life. So you guys can carry on laughing and mocking her, you just think you’re “cool” for laughing at her, but it will be you guys who end up on benefits with 6 kids! 👋🏻

Man, I was the kid that tried my hardest to be someone as smart as her. I used to challenge myself to try and catch up and be like the smart kids. Unfortunately I wasn't gifted as such, I was the boy that struggled every day trying to pass my courses. If a question took a minute for an average student to answer, it would take me 4 times as much. I never mouthed off to teachers, I rarely if ever got into trouble, never got into a fight (was threatened once). I was the quiet student that worked harder than any of my peers, no doubt about it. Every time there was a test I would ask "Did you study?", "How hard did you study" to my peers, almost always the same answer, "Barely", "I didn't study", "Nah, didn't even open the book", and here they were getting results way above mine. I went to several tutors (different ones in my period of school life), after class sessions, homework every day - and my hard work would only barely see me passing English, Maths, Social Studies, Science. I think the teachers at my school felt sorry for me, I remember being pulled out of classes to have a period to myself to study. I was also put into those "Special English/reading" classes (aka. the dumb class as I saw it) my entire school life. It was embarrassing to be pulled out of English class at random times and put in another to learn how to read and spell; I never thought those classes helped me, just made me feel insecure, degraded my confidence and made me feel stupid. Here I am, trying to be like the smart kids, achieving what they did only to be so far behind them. I wasn't geeky, nerdy, wimpy, small, or easily bullied - I treated school like work, clock-in, clock-out, no drama with anyone. I didn't have time for drama - I skipped that entire part of School life because I had my own issues of trying to pass. The girl in this clip, I would have secretly disliked her, because I would think "How come? How come I work just as hard if not harder by a mile and still see no results". That's because I was jealous and wanted to be like them - breezing through school work (that's how it looked to me at least), praised and respected by teachers. I remember as part of my class, we drew names out of a hat to determine what part of the play we would have. I was excited, I had the main role, only for my teacher to see that I got it, saying it's better if I swap with another girl (very similar to the one in this clip) who was a year younger than me. Why did I have to swap? Because my teacher believed I couldn't play the part, instead I was a background Tree prop. --- Well there was light at the end of the tunnel. Found an alternative pathway to University after not being accepted first time, got my Degree, went back for top honors degree, and now have a job, a house, and get paid very well. --- My hard work and struggling paid off, it might not have shined at school, but when I went to University and focused on the area I have a passion for, my over-the-top hardwork attitude allowed me to breeze through University; I mean it was still hard, but I got top marks because my perseverance paid off.

Great job m8! Didn't realize until now that the reason why I don't do well in school now is because I lost all my friends in year 9, I moved to another school, that's how I lost them- they didn't have anything to communicate me with. I used to be an ace in some of my classes, but now I get average or kinda bad grades (not a pass if I was in exam, so I would fail). I used to wonder why, even though I still worked hard. The only time I aced an exam is when I got a 9 in my physics exam (year 10). I'm in year 11 and I can't wait to get out of school.

I was a straight A student and i know i was like this until the middle of year 9 and i fully cringe at it. My grades deffo didnt slip when i relaxed, in fact i felt like they got better as I got a better relationship with everyone as i was less focussed on being a ‘try hard’ (not that there is anything wrong with that) and more on just learning and shaping myself as a person.

@@calvexxzydec809 that’s because people with social anxiety have a problem. But the truth of the matter is,you shouldn’t care if you are popular or not.just be happy who you are. @forestfaint92693 жыл бұрын
What do you mean?
@theburpman80063 жыл бұрын
Before hand she liked the company of adults which is Aspergers and she would be on her own while all the other students would socialise in friendship groups. She wouldn’t be in a group with the other children in school. But then she worked with the other children in school and got a lot better with social behaviour around other students.
