The colors you used were gulaals. It can be washed off easily but the real holi is with 'colors' that leaves a mark on your skin...red,green,black etc. Its very hard to come off. Though its irritating to wash it again and again so that it comes off but finally we have to leave it and after few days it goes away completely. Its irritating that it does't comes off but at the same time total fun to put and rub it on others face while they run here and there so that they miss that color. Gulaals are like starters and the 'colors' is the main course. The real one!!!!
